This was before my time, but it seems like kids had more fun with the music back then. Now, so much music is grim. Seeing something like this gives me that strong impression.
I grew up listening to the Oldies station from Detroit, and I got to know and love this song so much as a kid. Still has its charm all these years later.
I absolutely love this song. I feel churlish to point out that Romeo and Juliet were fiction, not history. Their other hit was very similar, Like Columbus Did. That was history.
