For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13) Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. (James 4:4) The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. (Psalms 34:18)
Just bought Federal Automatch 40 gr for 18.40 per 325 on 3250 rd case. 7/10/24. Stocked up, since looks good to go for everything from meat harvesting to personal defence. I know everyone wants CCI, but I'm not getting caught without ammo, so I buy like 9k rounds. Thanks for this great presentation!!!
Just in case anyone finds this video and is interested in this type of build, KRISS (the same people who make the Vector) have a DMK22 which is for all intents and purposes, an AR with 22 bolt and 10/22 barrels.... which if you're trying to compete in the NRL22 is kind of a big deal.
I only have one range trip under my belt, but I can’t disagree. Fed Champ is also dirty as hell and was my least favorite of the variety of ammos I tried. Automatch ran great though and I am thinking I will stock up on that.
This is so true. Bought a new M&P 15-22 and bought two boxes of Federal 36gr champion and it has been horrendous. It was so frustrating trying to zero in with that ammo. It was so inconsistent that I didn’t know if it was me, the gun or the ammo. Switched to aguila super extra and found it was the ammo that was my problem.
I have a CMMG AR 15 black powder muzzleloader upper that uses the ONLY primed 223 casing to set off the black powder charge. The Remington 700 ultimate muzzleloader dose this as well
I love the idea of stripper clips. I bought a bunch a couple of years ago but wasn't sure if it was a good way to store ammo. Sounds like all things being equal, it's just as good as cardboard in cans. Only issue I have is I can't ID the ammo after I put it in strippers and through away the boxes. No big deal for people who purchase 1000s of rounds at a time, but I get whatever brass cased 5.56 is a good deal at the time, so if something sucks, I don't know which ammo it was.
I just picked up two Mec 600 jr presses with all the dies and attachments for $500. I also got 10 reloading books. Looking forward to getting some work done. Appreciate the good video, thanks!
Lucas is my favorite. It stays put and makes actions silky smooth. I also use Brian Enos Slide-glide. Made for competition handguns, its even said to reduce felt recoil but I dont know that it can be comfirmed.
