I live in the Deep South. Is this the northern version of “why’d you buy such a big mower for that small a yard” type thing? The answer is “maybe shoulda bought a couple sizes up, still takes too long”.
It’s goodish, all together and running/driving I do need to blow it all apart for paint someday but haven’t had a chance with work. Just the tunnel, I debated firewall work but pushed rad ahead instead
There is no such thing as a snow blower being to big . I have moved drifts as high as 6 to 7 feet it takes time but it can be done. I have seen a 3 auger like yours.the bigger the better.
Its a laforge “factory option” front hitch and I added the front pto when I purchased tractor. The pto kit is zuidberg. Both laforge and zuidberg offer complete kits but I preferred the zuidberg, probably because it was cheaper and I know them better.
I used a JD 3010 gas with a old front JD loader for years! Snowmobile Clothing with a full helmet and full clear plastic shield... 3 hours of pushing snow.. COLD☃️
Nice work! I have an 8 1/2", rear-mounted snow blower. It is overkill during most of these wimpy winters we have been seeing here in mid-Michigan. But, the day will come when it will work hard to clear the deep snow...I like snow! Yes, a front-mounted blower would be nicer, but any blower sure beats plowing it and making banks that collect more snow.
We don’t see many deere blowers around here, Buhler dealer isn’t far away and my last two blowers have been buhler. Maybe a simple blower but they seem heavy enough
I know this is old but I would of never had the chute pointed up like that unless there was a strong wind to blow it away from the path, I would of ran with it a about 20-30 degrees to keep the white wash/snow fog down and get some distance, good video though.
I guess I should change the title, but in the description I think it says the lines were not hooked up yet for that. I only had one set of remotes to the front when I first used. Newer vid has it all hooked up. Thanks for comment
I seen the lines hooked to cylinder and just couldn't figure out why you didn't move it, I did think that maybe the switch in cab was bad, nice set up.
@@kslift5334 I just seen skid steer to much and get to much credit for my taste but you got me with that big tractor with the big snow blower the only big snow blower was on road crews and trains. You also had alot of snow I more likely looked like a kid in a toy store as I was watching your video
