You realize that if there were any none scratched holos in there, any particle of dust or grit from the poorer conditioned cards will scratch the holos by the way you are searching through them.

With reverse holo at 0.05/0.07c bulk price at f2f buylist you can probably make a bit back just on that! Just started watching so hopefully you get some hidden gems!

Do you collect sets of these by release? eg a set of Chilling Reign, etc, like you do with MtG?

Rule of thumb for pokemon is always check the reverse holographic trainers and stadiums. You would be surprised at the holographic tax on some cards.

Thanks for doing this so I don't have to. :) I've purchased things on goodwill auctions before for resale and it is hit and miss. One thing I've never done is buy cards. High risk, high reward though. I'm sure someone has made some money on it.

I think it’s tooo risky to buy Pokemon cards like this….i just buy booster boxes or sealed stuff.

When you figure these were six cents a card with all the holo energies this buy doesn’t look so bad. But the conditions are awful overall :( and way too many McDonald’s promos…

I would love for you to take more time to watch the cards individually, maybe chop the video into parts (or not really show everything), but we would definitely have a better product. There's a Magic the Gathering youtuber who did the same thing, bought MTG cards by the pound in an auction from goodwill. He showed the listing, what in that listing caught his eye to make the purchase. The amount he paid and then as the video went on and he got pulls, he started to cut on the total amount he paid to see if it was worth it. And he did get over 350k views on the video (he has 11k subs). TLDR, the concept is cool, it can go viral, requires a little more effort but there's potential for sure.

Hey, your real money is in the old trainer cards and random pokemon from X&Y up... GLC format uses a ton of them and they can be anywhere from $1-$10 depending on condition and rarity
