I changed the video output on my ps2 to the ybpb option but still dont get any image, it works on my 40 inch tv but does not work on my personal monitor wich is a 1080p 27 inch, any solution to this problem 😅😅😅
I have the slim. my dad said he bought it in 2004 but he wasn’t really a gaming person since his hobby is to DJ so he only used it when his friends came over to play mortal combat. In 2007 when I was born and everyone had kids he said nobody had time to play video games anymore so it has been sitting since but he gave it to me in 2022 to keep my brothers never used it because they’re busy with their Nintendo switch so now I have it hooked up to a crt tv and I play burnout 3 once in a while. However, I need to get the wireless controllers for it one day.
I’m experiencing an issue with one of my PS2 games. When I insert the disc, the console recognizes it, shows the logo, and everything seems fine. However, after that, the screen turns black. For comparison, the same game works perfectly on an emulator, and my PS2 console is functioning properly with other games. Could the problem be related to my TV settings or compatibility? Do you have any advice on how to fix this issue?
The hard drive is the real selling point because other than that The Fat PS2 had such irritating issues one time the disk drive stop opening never had that problem on the slim and how many times those early PS2s died from dust in the early 2000s was a nightmare
@@DiverseTech ok. Mine didn’t come on and I thought maybe it was something wrong with the actual link device but obs had it muted for some reason. Thanks for the reply tho. It helped
Our original ps2 has been running since the day i bought it (roughly a year after release) and its been played almost daily till this day (gave it to my dad who is 70+ and he loves the old ghost recons, black, killzone etc)
Dont use a Dual Sense! The PS2 had pressure sensitive face buttons that were used in many games. The Dual Sense doesn't have this feature. Get a DualShock 3 instead
There is actually a problem with this, ps2 controllers have pressure sensitive buttons that are used in a lot of games for example metal gear solid 2 and 3. So using a PS5 controller might lock you out of some games, but it is still a great Device /adapter!
