we've had a regular penalty taker for a few seasons now (Scarr) who I can't recall ever missing from the spot. This season we change the penalty taker and miss, then Mel says the girl who missed will take the next one too, madness
True professional gives his all every game young lad who made a very good decision signing a contract for a team where he will get game time.He could have gone to the prem and played In under 18 as so many have and disappeared.
More & More Impressed with RLB 'The 'Thinker' Calculated replys to the press , This guy is gradually easing himself into the English game at his pace being calm ,calculated & methodical , I can't speak too highly of him !!!! Dare I say The new Dechamps or Wenger ?? A Breath of fresh air to the SOL !!!!!!
Nice concept poorly handled.Did not look like they knew what they were going to be asked. Perhaps some rehearsal would have made it less stodgy. However they are footballers not actors and let’s hope they all show more confidence on the field. They do look like nice guys so let’s get behind them and make it a great season for all of us at the SOL.
Jobe has been fantastic this season I think we are seeing finally him start to get physically a lot stronger and a better game intelligence. His interceptions to start attacks have been very impressive
We're extremely lucky to have some of the quality in the side that we do today. Luke O'Nien is the perfect role model and great leader for the younger players. So refreshing to see so many keen, talented and quality players in the side and such a contrast from not too long ago when we had so much rot; players like Jack Rodwell with talent but not interested and just using Sunderland for a payday. Ha'way the Lads!
I used to captain a 5 a side team (cause I'd organise and pay fees) we were really good but lost every game. The reason we lost is cause I was shit in goal. Blondy reminds me of how shit I was. I left to go travelling and we then won the local league the next season 😂
What a view into 2 Sunderland legends!!! Mr Sunderland just confirms everything we think of him and the baby brother looks up to him but will surpass him in status!!! What a pair ❤️🤍❤️🤍 FTM
This video highlights O'Nien's real value to Sunderland. ... Keep O'Nien at the club = way more chance of keeping Rigg for at least one more season. O'Nien seems to be a natural (and excellent) mentor for all the young players. ... 🟥⬜🟥⬜🟥⬜
68yrs a supporter and never seen a better young player than this lad and I've seen them all in my time, just think of some of the names of those I've compared him to.
...but what's going on with his barnet? It looks like someone parked a loaf of bread on top of his swede. He needs someone to take him aside and recommend a decent coiffeur...and fast forward to a potential future reality where he becomes a very good premier league player, we remain as shit as ever with our penniless owners, Newcastle sign him and he declares it was always me and me dad's dream to play as Newcastle's number 9. Footballers and football fans are fickle as fook. I find it hard to buy into a word any footballer at club level. National level is the only true pure form left.
It’s so nice to see two articulate, talented lads representing Sunderland. What a role model for Rigg Luke is, and what a role model for kids Rigg is. Feel proud of our club watching this! Two gentlemen.
"my dads a converted Sunderland fan" hopefully his old man, sees what he has here and we have him for a while longer. If he gets promoted with us and has a good debut season in the Prem, then he can pick any team he wants (apart from the black and white Mag scum)
