I can only imagine how disappointed this young man is. He's one of my favorite players because of the way he plays every game like it's his first and last, an inspiration and example for us all. Hopefully the club will travel to North Carolina again this Summer for a friendly. Ha'Way from NC.
I don't agree. We have some good exciting talent but are not allowed to express themselves. Dodds has totally ruined this team with his negative and defensive tactics and not playing a striker. You are 2-0 down, two strikers on the bench and brings Hemir on in the 80th minute. He is out of his depth and must be shown the door.
You certainly have a compelling argument. I think there are some bright spots, notably Clark and O'Nien, and good play in the goal at times. Personally I'd like to add that the management is rubbish at the highest levels, and on the pitch making it more difficult to evaluate talent levels accurately.
Better not say what I think after that interview and the comments made. Just a reminder, we got beat AGAIN! 6 pts off relegation. Wonder what Mr Clough would have made of it. Grrrrrrr!
Terrible load of crap since January, from the cup game onwards we have been a feckin joke, look at today, Adil up top, a five foot odd centre forward, paddy not fit, ba comes on has a shot couldn’t hit a barn door. For me no holidays,next season starts tomorrow big teams in the league we must not have another year like this.
If Speakman doesn’t apologise in his end of season review, I’ll be fuming. However, since I’m an absolute mug I’ll still go to every game, but I’ll be doing it reluctantly!!!
This is totally ‘cheap talk’ and must be thrown back at the players…..could you not ‘reflect on your performance’ after Millwall, Coventry, Blackburn, Huddersfield ( H & A), Sheffield Wednesday to name but a few…… at best Sunderland are a bottom 6 team….NOT GOOD ENOUGH
Luke, you were a breath of fresh air when you first joined the club..Sorry but this past season has showed that your not a leader of men (boys) whatever, and now towing the Doddsy party line. Stop with the usual platitudes to the supporters, most of which are just lips service. Finally, your not learning, infact , your going backwards with the coaching aspect
