I create live-looping covers with my Arturia Minilab MK2 and new Arturia Minilab 3, along with tutorials on Ableton, Arturia and free VST plugins. I also play guitar and piano, giving you the best of both worlds with fingerstyle guitar and electronic EDM covers!
Don't forget to check out my website and other social media links where you can find the project files that I use for free.
just bought minilab 3. connected it to ableton. tried to play drums on pads. resposne is slow. Am I supposed to use audio interface between minilab and computer?
hello, thanks for the great video, the best I can find on YT. I wonder if your minilab is the default settings as it does not work the same as mine, for examples at 12:10 you tap the pad to stop the track, this works for me, but when I tap it again it does not start playing again. I then need to click small button within Ableton to unmute the track, I can't find how to unmute it via the ML3. :( Any advice is appreciated and thanks again
I love loopy pro. The downside you have to run it on iPad. I am struggling to get an interface to work seamlessly with iPad without dongles and adapters to make it easy for live use. What is the easy solution . Is there a portable bus or battery powered interface that will work with iPad. I thought the mini fuse 4 would be good but it cannot work by bus power and they don’t supply the much needed power supply.any advice I? Thanks
Thanks a lot. You are a much better teacher than people at Arturia! Thanks to you, and you only, I can use my minilab 3 (after struggling for several days).
Yes, I use an audio interface for the guitar. The guitar isn't connected to the minilab but pluged in to the audio interface, which goes into the computer.
LEGENDARY TUTORIAL!!! thank you so much, im a total beginner with equiptment but this was easy and well paced, now im really getting the hang of it. amazing work thanks again <3
Just found this video after asking you how to get analog lab sounds going in to ableton. This should solve the problem. I will try again tomorrow. Many thanks.
Simple when you know how. Click on the icon just below File. Click on Plugins. Drag and Drop Analog Lab V to one of your Midi Tracks. It even opens Analog Lab V for you.
love this tutto... a question... how do you configure abelton to start recording form the 4th beat instead of the first? if I do the same as you, the first 4 beats are in silence... thx from argentina!
This is the first tutorial that has helped me understand how to operate this device correctly. I have desperately watched probably 40 different tutorial videos so far and it was only now in this tutorial that things became clear to me. Thank you.
Thank you so much for the video. I did all these steps but still can't get to put the three pads in green like you do, and I can't do the live loop 😢😢 I would appreciate if you could explain that last part please! Thank you so much!!
Thank you for this video, it is really informative🙏 but I have problem with ableton mood. When I press shift 8 ableton automatic map doesn't work. I can use my arturia as midi but, ableton live mood doesn't work. Do you have any advice?
omg danku, ik heb deze minilab al een jaartje of twee en ik vond niet hoe je moest live loopen, nu na een jaartje stof vangen haal ik hem terug uit de kast en zoek direct live loopen op, danku ;u;
