Do you have a video showing how you set this up with a guitar? Are you triggering the loop with a foot switch? And finally, are you able to activate pedals or other settings with a foot pedal? This is a great video and there aren’t many like it online - keep it up!
No I haven't! But good guessing because I used the footswitch to stop the recording (by arming another track, with midi learn). The rest I did with the minilab.
Yes, I use an audio interface for the guitar. The guitar isn't connected to the minilab but pluged in to the audio interface, which goes into the computer.
Thanks! I record my screen with the free program StreamLabs. It works really well for recording your screen. During the filming I record a track in Ableton. Afterwards I export it and add it seperatly to my video in the editing program.
Hey, just watched your minilab looping tutorial and I have a question. When you loop - you always know what length of track should be for every instrument? For example I record first track - drums, and the length is 16. If i add piano and play only during first 4 bars, is it possible to press stop and let it be 16 length automatically?
Hi Den, No you don't have to know what length the track should be for every instrument. If you stop a loop in Ableton, it just keep repeating that loop, wheter it is 2 bars or 16 bars. f.e. a 2 bar loop will be looped 8 times in the time that a 16th bar loop is played only once. Hope this helps :)
@@raulangulo9800 Yes! In this video I stopped the loop by pressing the remapped sustain pedal. In most of my other videos I just use the pads on the minilab.
