While I don't think Frieren is the "greatest anime of all time", I think it is an amazing show that does everything right, and has something in it that everyone enjoys. Fantasy? Check. Great battle animation? Check. Great pacing? Check. Hitting all the emotional notes? Check. Improving the source material in every way? Check. Personally I enjoyed Vinland Saga and Made in Abyss more in the recent seasons, but they have areas which I can see people not liking. Frieren on the other hand may not be the "best" anime, but it is a "perfect" anime.

(Very mild spoilers above, I doubt it's considered a spoiler but still) Man, I can't- he really is cool at times but like he's just... just PATHETIC sometimes. The number of times he's gotten shitted on and don't forget being called ugly (even if it was just mentioned in passing that was a critical hit), the commitment to be able to read the novel is true though (mildly pathetic). He's shrewd and all, truly a scammer at best but I like, I doubt a novel reader or a person who's pretty caught up in the Manhwa would ever call him a CHAD, he's better off as a rat.
The Fantasie of a Stepmother is good, crazy good. The art is top tier and the story just keeps on escalating. Definitely recommed you guys to read that one.

Connor shouldn't play Earthbound next. The characters that get into the party start at level 1 instead of scaling with the group and that's really annoying. It requires way too much grinding. Tbh, get him into Persona. Those games might be long, but they balance their combat with social sim elements. So you can keep playing the game even if you're not in the mood for combat.

As good as Frieren is, i don't think it's earned the top spot. One of the reason FMA:B is so well regarded is it ended in such a satisfying way with pretty much every character. The Frieren manga hasn't even ended yet. And one season cannot compare to a completed story.

In my opinion its my fav webtoon of all time because the main character has a way more trashy personality and we don't know much about him (including him lol) and his past in comparison to others. And there is many things to list but I hope someone gives it a chance to read it
