Creepers being completely silent is their best feature. It adds an element of fear that you don't get otherwise in the overworld. As for witches: their range is low, much lower than a bow. Killing them is easy once you get a bow. Until then, just avoid them.
For 1.3, by FAR the worst change was the introduction of the integrated server, which meant that when you play in singleplayer, you are still effectively playing on a server. This severely harmed the game's performance and introduced various bugs that were previously only possible in multiplayer. There is a great video covering this topic titled "Singleplayer Is A Lie. Here's Why...": ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Tc9fWXfDQNw.html
You absolutely do not have to beat the ender dragon to get a shulker box or an, Elytra. Just bridge 1000 blocks out from the end island. I actually did this just the other day
When 1.9 came out, I remember one of my friends in school telling me you can now find wings in the end and fly in survival... I didn't believe him cuz I thought that sounded absolutely ridiculous, Mojang would never give the ability to fly in survival... Good times.
Ok then let us also hate them for being pathetic and typing out something nobody else except themselves care about and that they can easily keep in their own heads, thank you very much.
this was a great minecraft history video, it sure did took me on a trip down memory lane. i don't know if anyone can relate to this but i remember the first time 1.8 and 1.9 updates came out, it was back when i played minecraft the most (2012-2016). now i think 10 years have passed since 2014 and either 1.8 or 1.9, but since i hadn't played the game for 3 years in 2019 until the pewdiepie minecraft revival, the end cities and the ocean monuments still seem like new updates to me. even though so much has been added and changed to/in minecraft since, they still are the biggest "whoa this is big" factors for me. a few months ago i was talking to someone about elytras and end cities and i thought about them as new updates, then i realized 10 whole years have passed.
>You write a good comment >Many thousands of people agree with you and like you >You're fucking ruining everything, that is, your comment >You edit the comment and write "Edit: Thanks for _ likes" >You just acted like a child looking for attention on the Internet because your parents beat your ass with a belt.
14:24 Personally, I think the best addition to the game on the aquatic update is the player's swimming feature. I remember how irritating it was to explore inside water before this update
Anyone that's played techie mod packs for a long time will recognize that you usually get like 13 versions of copper. So my best guess for why Mojang added copper was so that there would be one universal form of copper in minecraft. But honestly? Adding a random mineral and doing fuck all with it for no reason is very like them
Genuinely insane how Mojang will get endless complaints about the mob votes, years and years and years of people talking about how terrible Phantoms and glow squids are and how unfair it is for them to win over others and just do...nothing. Does not help the 'mojang is incompotent and lazy' slander
You know for the shields they should totally add a tier system just like with armor, and maybe specialization even like all shields reduce incoming dmg but some are better/worse to a special type like maybe you are in the nether and you can have a shield specialised on reducing fire damage, or a shield that specialises on reducing status effects taken on hit.
