The McCain ones are OK, but tend to go cold quickly. Rather like Microchips do. I have the same airfryer as you, and cooked them a little longer, but they do go cold sharpish. Eat them up fast.😁
McCain 5 minute chips are just chips that have been cooked longer by the manufacturer, so you cook them less in the air fryer. It's not rocket science!
❗ Why are you dumping out your fries, or any food from the baskets? The whole idea of air fryers is less oil and grease in our foods. By dumping the food out, you're adding the grease that drained off back onto your food! Just use a nice pair of silicon tongs or turner to remove your food. It doesn't take that long to remove your food.
It really depends on the airfryer. My old Philips was amazing. My current Ninja is just garbage. It seems like it cannot get rid of the steam, it takes too long to do crispy fries
Agreed, they are browner, but still took 1/2 the time, one minute more and they come out a better colour, but had to do 5 for the test. as for the Cosori, keeping this video on brand. In our kitchen we have 3 air fryers, 2 x Ninja's and 1 Cosori lol
Thank you so much for your comment. Have a look at the ninja air fryer AF100UK it’s great for one person. I’ve done an unboxing video on it so you can see what like looks like.
Contacted Ninja direfct as I purxhaase ir from them. Dealt with me very fairly and the stack version returned. Once money cleared do plan to purchase the similar spec model. side by side model from Ninja direct.
Wish I'd seen this before buying the stacked version. Already noting issues, several identified here. Guess this new model. could prove to be a lemon for Ninja. Not happy.
Wow amazing review, thank you for that. Because the sizes of the baskets seems to be very identical, i am wondering if you can put the small baskets into the new Ninja. Did you try that?
You mention you use a rack that you bought separately for the dual zone, so then basically it will do the same as the stacker? Cook veggies in bottom and protein in top of rack?
You have the stacker grill shelf upside down that why it’s difficult to put them in. I’ve been using mine for about 3 weeks now & i find it easy to use. Just got to get used to the timing (cooking quicker then I thought) the double stack pro stops the under cooking. Also agree with the noise. It seems very loud
Thanks for the comment. The beauty of doing my first demo and talk. Makes you wonder why they didn’t make them reversible. Really wanted to like this, but for £270 and all its faults, it’s going back.
I don’t own either but I understand that there are independent timers for each drawer on the dual zone. That to me is actually the biggest plus for the dual zone and seemingly you chose not to mention it🤔
I use combined cooking 7 minutes x potatoes in the microwave and 5 minutes in the air fryer delish. Same cooking flavor faster cooking. Add the ingredients that you like.👍
What an amazing review, you explained everything perfectly. I really couldn’t get on with the holes in the back of the drawer so won’t be buying a Stack. Thanks very much. 🤓
Because the heat comes from the back so food at the front takes longer to cook. All other air fryers use overhead fans that pushes out the heat evenly. I suppose you could flip & turn instead of just flipping to help the evenness?
Thanks for that. The sausages were there to show the inconsistency on camera easily. If it had been chips filling half the basket then most would be undercooked and there’s no way to stop that.
Thanks. I’ve compared the dual zone to the megazone and made a video on it. I haven’t compared the stack with the megazone as the stack is boxed up ready to go back.
Thank you for this vlog still haven’t decided on an air fryer. I cook for Birmingham Support Group (on Facebook) which provides hot meals for the homeless & vulnerable so need something to cook 3-4 chickens
