She sounds like she wants to do therapy and get better but she doesn’t want to be forced into it. I can’t blame her there. I went thru 8-9 various psychiatrists before I found the right fit for myself. Had somebody picked one and told me it was MY fault I wasn’t getting better, even tho the psych clearly wasn’t the right fit, I definitely wouldn’t be doing as well as I am, these days. She needs choices and time to make some mistakes. She’s basically a teenager, mentally. Not ever having to make hard decisions, knowing almost nothing about money, real friendships, and real love.
