Every once in a while I come back to this video. Such a cool, tasteful way to celebrate the Mk12. Perhaps to others, it may seem like an odd thing to appreciate. Yet to those who get it... cheers. Well done and thank you for putting this together.
Telephoto perspective with wide angle field of view is untouchable. At least until a 6x9 digital sensor is built into a camera. But who could afford it!

Had one it is great quality. Had an issue with a diode that was inverted and cause an error message. Daedalus where terrific and helped me quickly and efficient to resolve the issue.

One of the largest costs for the Mod 1 is the KAC FF rail. Definitely the hardest part to find, look to put down a large amount of coin for one of those unless you get extremely lucky and find it for retail. In your case however, building a mod 0, rails are much more readily available and can be found for retail. Your biggest single expense will probably be optic if you go with the Leupold Mk4 3.5-10x. Keeping it under 3K without including cost of optic is doable.
Unfortunately not, it took a long time to source all the parts and as you can see the installation is more than just bolting on. Take a look into the M-tech body kit as well, that conversion may be a bit more straight forward.
Nicely made video. The MK12 has a special place in my ❤️ the AEM5 is still king of the hill for 5.56 IMHO. I think I'll go get in my safe and hang out with mine for a little while 🤗
