This was one of the first cassette tapes my Big Brother gave me when I was 10 or 11 unreal like nothing I had heard before the Era when Dance music was on the up and E's were the size of an old 5p piece pity I wasn't a bit older but I made up for it trust me!!!!!! Those days will never come round again 😢😢
Reminds me of going to a friends house after school. He used to play stuff like this to me. I spent my paper round money on stuff like this. I still have them.
OMG I forgot about this until I was reading comments on 52nd Street "Tell me how it feels" MAAAAN this song here!!!! 🔥🔥 Early Saturday morning I'm going to get in my car drive and listen for the hell of it!!
1989>runthings,cambridge health road, london When this tune came on,my mate john destroyed a straw that he had in his mouth And i mean destroyed it. The biggest shout from the crowd out of all the tunes that was played on the night. Runthings londoneast e2 area His second name Classifed ,for obvious reasons
Incredible tune, takes me back to my BMX days. One thing I noticed in this video that I see in a few modern days films about the nr future like Looper...using eye drops as a drug which isn't even a thing now. Who thought of that, a time traveller?. Amazing no one seemed to say anything about it back then, why they were all going to the toilets together to put eye drops in.
Guys, if you're having fun but feel like you won't be having fun soon. Don't worry, you will. Just wait patiently. It'll hit you like a summer breeze even in winter. You're almost there.
Back in the day if you were fortunate enough to be old enough to hear this it was pure house music class and still to this day to those in the know its pure class from a old house music lover in 1988 still till this day , respect and love .
My first ever gig and rave when I was 15 was seeing 808 State with N-Joi supporting at Brixton Academy in 1990. My whole world opened and my life changed that night. Will always be so grateful for these amazing tunes ❤️
Hi Adrian! I am one of the writer's of this track and In your Face as well! Pacific State became Ambient House? In your face was just Northern English experimental music? Many influence's went into this music! We were just original by default! Thank you!
On the radio it was aired a version with vocal, of this track in 1989. It was a male singer, but I don't find that version anywhere. Does anybody know which version was it?
My son was playing GTA on my classic PS2, and then suddenly I heard this track. I had to find out what it was! What a great discovery! Love this extended version, feels like a pleasant trip :)
@@martinprice7070I hadn’t slept in 2 days and needed my mind reset to a calming state just so I could sleep. I had this on repeat for about an hour and it helped tremendously. Now at home recovering from major surgery. This helped me that night more than I can say. Thank you.
