I am traveling the country doing audits visiting Police Stations and industry across the country to see what kind of response a man with a camera gets by the general public.
So invading personal space with a camera in public is ok for DJ but he wont have the camera in his? If that fella was attempting to assult DJ, DJ would have his pov footage of it. DJ didnt warn the fella before he pushed him back the first time. In the right eyes that could be bought up for assult. Its tit for tat and someone spat their dummy out when their own game was played
Your a little unreasonable in asking the head of security about business on site and mock him, when he has no authority to tell any one the about who they are and what they do.
The important part about giving out details is that an officer has to point out a specific offence that they believe you have committed. If they just say they believe you've committed an offence then they are absolutely NOT entitled to have your details. They have to actually give you a specific offence that they believe you have committed. They can't do that here because they probably know they're wrong but are just doubling down so that they don't look silly. Unfortunately that moment has already passed 😀
Whilst I agree that the Police (a lot of them anyway) need to brush up on the laws regarding drones I'm wondering why you didn't want her to take a photo of the ID? Would you be okay with her writing it down which she would be allowed to do? If yes to the latter then I'm wondering why the objection to a photo of it being taken as it would only be taken for use in the same way as if they'd written it down? Just curious incase I'm missing something here as I have just started flying drones too. Also in slight defence of the officer she did ask if she was okay to hold the card and then you handed it towards her so she didn't take it from you without permission as permission was granted by you offering the card towards her hand after she'd asked what she asked. Cheers.
Well PJ as a retired SIA security guard its best to stick to the job they are MEANT to do and leave the rest to company personnel after all their responsibilities are at the gate and sometimes either a walking or mobile patrol of the site and to challenge any intrusion and try to settle it peacefully, or report a situation but avoid any physical intervention unless instructed at the start of the job
It's really good to see someone who is not a jumped up jerk throwing orders about under some misconceived idea of their own authority. Not only did the guy know it's perfectly legal to take photos he gave the impression he wasn't bothered about it anyway. You wouldn't have much of a channel if everyone (including plod) were that clued up and I loved the way he swerved your questions with a smile. Look it up on the internet indeed! That told you 😅😅😅
OLD TIMMER SECURITY GUARD IS LOYAL TO BAA HE IS PREPARED MAKE UP LAWS AND EVEN STATE THAT BAA SYSTEMS RULES APPLY TO THE WHOLE OF THE PEOPLE IN THE BRITISH ISLES. STOP. MAKING UP LAWS MATIE.
Strange how BAE are so hostile. Back in the day UKAEA up at Dounreay and at Sellafield were pretty approachable and friendly. Then again they were armed and had nothing to prove. 🙄🤔
