I narrate what I'm seeing, and encourage users to subscribe and share their memories of a neighborhood I've been through. Other cities that I've featured on this channel include Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, San Diego, Seattle, Phoenix, St. Louis, Denver, and other parts of Northeast Ohio. The name Poko Traveler stems from a portion of my name and my hobby for traveling.
At the 14:12 mark, the foldable sign on the ground says "Yellow Line" and mentions San Francisco as the first destination. I'm not sure if they ever change up where the signs are located. At 14:19, on the train itself, you can see a yellow icon next to SFO Airport on the train. I assume that to mean Yellow Line.
@@PokoTraveler Thanks, I will be a first timer on the system, on my next trip. I have a Clipper Card being mailed to me. Plan to hit all the FUN tourist spots while there. Last week, when I was there, I rented an Avis rental car.

I love going through coe lake whenever I get the free time. I usually do take the 86, but ever since some of the new schedule changes for the buses, they made the 86 and 3 other routes now run every 30 minutes Monday - Friday daytime only. And because of that the 86 has been running late almost every day since then (Aug 4th). The other routes that they made every 30 minutes are the 16,50,71,and 86. But anyway great video!
Antonio's at 30:45 has closed recently and unexpectedly. No word on why but it was family owned, so something may have happened to one of the family owners. They had good pizza and Italian food.
I love the spirit Halloween stores! Halloween has always been my favorite Holiday. Some cool costumes, Five nights at freddy's, Nightmare Before Christmas. I'm usually looking for the decorations/props when I go there; which they've always had an excellent selection of. Although, its been a few years since I last decorated for Halloween, just didnt have time the past 2 years.
That building is the old police station, court house & jail! The park will be lit up on the Saturday after Thanksgiving 1st the Christmas parade then fire works then the park is lit up! The Egyptian theater is the last 1 down town! Very old theater with a huge story behind it! The Orpheum was torn down! The horses I know the lady who is in charge of the horses they were put away for the winter! My youngest got the opportunity to design one of the horses!
I lived with a Mormon family and I was surprised to find that many of them object to the celebration of Halloween. Wearing masks of any kind seemed to be frowned upon. As diligently as they all tried, they couldn't convert me from Christianity to their belief system.
@@laurar5016 Interesting, because now, Utah is ranked No. 1 in the country when it comes to extravagant Halloween Decorations (although not everyone in Utah is Mormon, of course).
@@PokoTraveler Yes, as the saying goes....times are changing and since the Mormons have taken enough flack in the past, I guess they have to comply with opposing views in order to survive.
I took the bus to and from the airport one trip saved me about 40-60 bucks on ubers and taxis I got lost by unlv tho the bus I took went down Maryland Pkwy I had to transfer to a another bus that went to the strip.

I fly out of CLT regularly. I love the atrium. It's a lovely airport 🛫 but the construction 🚧 has made it a bit challenging. It's still a good place. People are friendly and helpful. The worst part is the construction 🚧 which is ongoing. I'm 75 and I can walk the whole airport. Baggage claim is a nightmare.

Sadly, there’s no possible way to explore all of Terminal 1. Concourse B in Terminal 1, where TWA was, is completely closed off and abandoned. In its heyday it was gorgeous.
