@@Stottl3 It really depends on how much more we have to use. We have our estimating process pretty dialed in based on usage studies over the years, so we are pretty confident in our estimating!
I always shoot SW Setfast solvent based Do you like to shoot setfast on top of sealer I heard it yellows and you should use water based paint What type of paint do you recommend on top of sealer
Yes we spray SW Setfast Solvent on top of sealer. If you are using Coal Tar sealer, it will burn/turn colors, and it sometimes does it on liquid petroleum based sealers. We use Asphalt Emulsion based sealers and it doesn’t turn colors when we paint 👍
It’s an app we use to measure total SQF and LF of assessments. We can also attach pictures and notes to each area. We then convert it to a PDF and attach it to every proposal. The app is called MeasureMap Pro
Great job. I am thinking of getting into the business. One of my concerns is the health aspects. Are any of the seal coat materials bad to breath? I dont see any masks being worn while spraying. So in your opinion is there anything to worry about? What about getting the spray or material on your skin?
Great questions! We currently use an asphalt emulsion based sealer. As with any sort of a product that goes through a manufacturing process, there are always health risks. However, this product is the least risky on the market. The only type of asphalt sealer that will burn if it touches your skin is coal tar based sealers. There are some areas that are starting to ban the use of that product due to the health and environmental risks it opposes. Our recommendation if you are getting into the business would be to use a liquid petroleum based sealer or an asphalt emulsion based sealer
You have an amazing channel very helpful and informative, the videos are great quality I can tell a lot of work goes into it I’ve been striping for two years in California, going to get a seal rig before the years over, these videos help me learn and are very enjoyable to watch

@@proline_plm can you do an equipment video, which rig you like to use, which sealer which line stripers, which paint, etc I use all gracos and SW setfast paint, I’m thinking of going with seal master for the rig
Oh shoot! We thought everyone was going to motorcycles! 😂 This project layout was regulated by some fancy blueprints a fella on a computer drew up! If they’re too small, call them! 😂
We charged enough to cover our labor, materials, overhead, and put a little bit in our pocket! Feel free to send a DM and we can talk a little bit more about how we price/cost our jobs 😎
@@proline_plm GREAT reply . never give up your price . anyone out there needs to know there costs and overhead and profit they need . . NICE JOB by the way looks good and nice to see 2 spray coats .
Oh this is an ad? I see more like a metaphor of how covering up problems doesnt fix them only prolongs the inevitable and makes issues later for yourself
