I laughed so loudly when you said, “ Don’t try to soften my flesh!”🤣🤣🤣🤣. He came out great even with his shaved ears. Idk why the dad was so pissy with you when he knows he brought his dog in looking like a homeless ragamuffin. When I drop my lil boy off I ask for an approximate pick up time, but then I just wait for the call back while go about my day. If it takes longer than they predicted I just assume they’re busy and again, go on about my day.
You did amazing, fur parents cant be upset with how long it's taking when he hasnt been groomed in soooo long. That and the matting takes time. 😂😂 and yet you still handled it with grace and made him handsome❤❤❤❤
In previous videos she says to start bringing them in at 8 weeks, & then to bring them in regularly so that the groomer can train them to tolerate the process. Her new puppy videos are very entertaining.
Good grooming .May be you could say to dog owners try and walk ther dog for 15 minutes be for they bring them to salon..so they don't poo in there cage ..
That would probably help. But my nervous shih tzu always poops at the groomer and vet. He’s so embarrassing 🤦🏽♀️. He does it every time even though I walk him before leaving the house and again when I get there. Idk if he does it when they put him in the kennel because he always does it in their floor
Great job! It's always so rewarding to help a dog who's long overdue for their groom! I always like the happy dog after their groom feeling so much better! 🐾🐶
I have a Chihuahua/Corgi mix, and she is shedding like crazy right now. I am brushing her daily, just pulling out her hair. What else can I do? There is hair all over my house and me! She is my first short haired dog. Totally different from my long haired dogs. Thank you for any advice.
What kind of brush are you using? I gave a labrador and see that the big brush doesn't really work for him. There's this descending brush that looks like a really tight comb, it gets the under coat shedding out.
Its a shame that your work place font have the new shower shampooing systems which goes through the hand shower it would make shampooing the dogs faster and easier for you
I personally am glad you cut down showing the full bath and especially the drying! Thank you for that. Those dryers seem so scary for just about every dog I see it used on. Wish they would invent a less aggressive form of dog dryer. Me, I like mine to air dry outside. They run around after a bath and are dry within minutes especially on sunny days! Milly’s fur looks like soft cotton and I see why it Matt’s do easily. She is very good for you during the process. Great video!!
Hope Milie's owners comply and bring her back on a more routine basis, yes, it would be interesting to see if they do and what shape she will be in. Even though she was a mess, she turned out cute. I wish more people took better care of their dogs so you could show everyone your skills/talent. When I groomed, same type cases, and yes, some wanted you (groomer) to fix in a couple of hours what they have not touched in months, nothing changes. Thanks for sharing.
@@susanisrael5154 I groomed dogs professionally for 30 years---think that qualifies me to judge if I want...I heard every excuse you can imagine from owners for why their dogs were in terrible shape. Some people take great care of their dogs, others not so much.
Yes! I would like to see her six weeks what she looks like. Great groom it must be so difficult to see them all matted after that nice cute cut you did last time. 🤦 Well I think she knew you were helping her feel better. Awesome job describing what the owner wanted! I have been trying to achieve this cut on my Yorkie, Gizmo. I have been watching Yorkie grooming videos daily since January when I got my little guy. You use a lot of shampoo and wondering if I should be using more. Is conditioner important? I have not been using any.
