Hi, Chris! I just found your channel. This is very useful. Your channel is the treasure. Plz keep doing this, it really helps me a lot. And thank you for posting these videos for free!!!!
instead of doing cmd+E to trim the clip you can hit cmd+T to trim the clip according to selection. that way, you don't need to delete the remaining clips that you don't want to use as it's already trimmed according to selection.
Would you be able to help me troubleshoot this? Is there a button or setting that I have to set before I do record automation in order to be able to see the automated clips in Yellow? My automation is recording, and I see the EQ changing, but when I want to edit the automation, I can't find which one it is - none of them show up as yellow. PLEASE HELP!
Somehow I missed this, so this is a late reply - any luck? Assuming you went to automation lanes at bottom left of track and expanded it, then selected the EQ you are using in the jump menu? Is your plug in automation enabled?
If you want people to watch a whole video, an example of the finished product at the beginning would go a long way. Im not sitting through a video when ive no idea if the result will be crap. Amd if people click through to the end to try to find it it just makes your stats look bad and you wont be recommended as much.
Do you know why my prefereces won't save? I am trying to enable "show insert assignment gain reduction meter" but it keeps unchecking itself? I'm running Pro Tools Artist 2024.3
Good question, I'm not sure why but just confirming, is this all on the same computer and/or same user profile of that computer? Do your other settings save?
@@ChrisMoroccoSound Yes, same computer and user. I can change every other preference except that one. When I go back in to the preferences after clicking it, the box is back empty as if I didn’t enable it. And I’ve already tried trashing my preferences but it didn’t work either. Lol I’m wondering if it’s just a “Pro Tools Artist” thing but I know I had the insert gain reduction meters showing on there a few months ago. I just noticed it recently now that I’m learning more.
