The movie was pg 13 because Scott also wanted his younger audience to be able to watch the movie so leave the movie alone I get you have your own opinion but you guys keep complaining about it not it being rated R

I think this quote from another story, said to that story's villain, describes Walt's motivations quite well(I wanna see if there's a significant overlap between the fanbase of breaking bad and the fanbase of that other story lol): ''Now it's all happened, and I can't change any of it, and I still don't know where it all went so wrong (...) Maybe it was all the small moments where you felt threatened or powerless or out of control, and all the things you did to fight those feelings''. As the RU-vidr says, what drives Walt is this feeling of not being enough, and he responds to that by exerting power with no regard for the well-being of others.

The bends at 7 literally baffled me. I listen to that album everyday and fake plastic trees makes me almost cry every time I listen to it. Everything about that album is so beautiful. Even the intro song planet telex is amazing. I had my jaw dropped when I seen the bends pop up. Imo the album cover is fire too honestly. I will defend this album until I die and is my favorite one (not the best one but definitely not 2nd to worst).

On the part about the rotten tomatoes score, I'm pretty sure around 2018 Rotten Tomatoes changed their review system so that only verified users could rate a movie, and to be a verified user you had to have purchased your ticket for the movie through Fandango (the company that owns Rotten Tomatoes). This drastically reduced the number of people who could rate on the site, which could explain why the scores are so much higher now. I do also believe your conspiracy theory that rotten tomatoes is inflating scores, though I don't buy that it's because studios are paying off rotten tomatoes to do it, I'd say it's just because its owned by the ticket selling company Fandango and the higher the rating is the more likely a person is to buy a ticket.

Thank you for making this video, I pretty much agree with you on everything and I have felt this way since the movie first came out. I’ve been part of the fnaf community since 2014, but have been seriously falling out of favor with it as time goes on. When this film came out, it felt like I was being gaslit to feel like I was wrong or like I was “not a fan” for thinking that the film was bad. I really want to seriously leave the fan base, but it’s been a part of my life for so long. It really hurt to see people claim that this film was successful as an adaptation if not as a standalone movie, but when I look at it, I see a fundamental misunderstanding of the franchise (probably the clearest misunderstanding of the franchise since it was a direct misinterpretation of the first game) and I thought that people who were “fans” would also be able to see that as well, but I guess people don’t like the series for what it was meant to be be anymore, only having a superficial liking of it, and I should just accept that and move on with my time.

I think your conclusion that Scott shifted the franchise away from horror due to his faith, is very accurate. Personally, I don’t think it’s wrong to create, or enjoy horror as a Christian, and I say this as a Christian myself. It’s a real shame because I think fnaf has an insane amount of potential as a psychological horror franchise, and I think the first 4 fnaf games, along with fnaf vhs videos, really demonstrates this. I honestly think Scott has such a talent at creating unsettling, disturbing, and psychological horror, but he just refuses to use it. I think sister location really marks the shift in Scott’s focus for the franchise. It completely dismantles the grounded feeling that the other games had by making the lore way too ridiculous, and convoluted. This franchise got popular because of its disturbing, and eery nature, and now some of the fans want to shame those who want that aspect of fnaf. Unfortunately, I don’t think that side of fnaf is going to come back officially, at least not to the extent of something like fnaf 1. I can still enjoy videos and fan games that capture that feeling, so I guess it’s not all bad. I just wish the franchise wasn’t so dismissive of what made it popular in the first place.
@IrtazaFNAFPro
@IrtazaFNAFPro 4 дня назад
No verdana's conclusion is inaccurate actually. The franchise has not shifted away from horror anymore scott is now making fnaf scary again because of its 10th anniversary announcements like the dead by daylight collab and the joy of creation demo that was scary aswell but it wasn't made by Scott it was made by nikson and he had an interview with dawko for the second time and saying he wants five nights at freddy's to take the horror side and he doesn't want it to be kid friendly again and into the pit was very scary because of its jumpscares and sound effects and he's working on the sequel for the fnaf movie which will be 100x better and scarier than the first movie

If you want an actual comparison, the closest character I can think of to walt is mister negative from Spider-Man PS4. In that game it's stated that (and I'm paraphrasing) "He wore a demon mask so he could let his emotions out as one. Pretending to be a demon, until he became one" if you ask me, that's what happened with Walter. Those feelings, emotions, _stomach_ to do all the things he does in breaking bad always existed, but he couldn't act on them because he didn't have the mask to do so, UNTIL Heisenberg came around. He used Heisenberg as a shield and as a mask for him to act on those desires. At first he just used it as a shield for his identity. But it eventually became a mask for him to hold over himself, so he could convince himself that he could do these awful awful things. It isn't some alter ego, it's Walter White's OC that he acts as whenever he needs to do something.

While interesting, I can't help but feel your pitch for a different FNAF film disregards many of the ideas Scott put into even the first few games. You think it's only a psychological horror and dark story, but Scott put the comedic elements in it to balance out the games so that it isn't all doom and gloom. Five Nights at Freddy's is not The Shining, plain and simple, yet you think it should be which is a bit weird; That would be like saying I believe FNAF should be more like The Conjuring to be truly scary. A TV show would do more justice to the FNAF story to fully explore all these ideas and satisfy everyone, but that's probably just me.

The amount of young men who idolize characters like Walt or Bateman is disheartening, and the adult men who never grow out of that naive impulse are frankly pathetic. I’m glad to see memes like the Superman edit going around and hopefully reminding at least some of them that being a piece of shit person isn’t badass, it’s shitty.

I will never understand why people cared what the lady in 73 yards was saying… It was so obviously some kind of magic or something lol it wasn’t like it was something so bad that everyone had the exact same identical reaction lol That’s not what matters… What matters is why… Why was she keeping everyone away from herself… because it did turn out to be Ruby in the end… And it feels very much like a plot device in order to pull off that scene with the Prime Minister… And if she didn’t have the ability to do differently until the very last second… How did she suddenly know… It makes no sense That episode was really cool, but it literally could not have made less sense

Long comment ahead you've been warned. To give my two cents, on first watching Dot and Bubble, the episode felt pretty comedic to me so the whole racist reveal gave me a bit of a tonal whiplash. Like having a freakin delicious meal followed by a pudding that tastes like dogshite that someone else already vomited up into your bowl. I don't remember if I mentioned this on some other video but if Ricky September had survived Dot and Bubble, becoming a temporary companion and he was the one who becomes romantically involved before dying then not only would the ending of Dot and Bubble probably have felt better (September's survival/joining the Tardis would be a silver lining to the greater rejection) but his sacrifice would come after the audience had a chance to get to know him a little better and might have felt more meaningful.

When you look back at Seasons 1-5 there was a variety of writers each season with a few regulars and the showrunner writing the important episodes. There were less and less writers as time went on until by seasons 8 and 9 moffat wrote almost every episode and only had a bit more help with season 10, which ended up being the best of that period. Then with Chibnall, it was mostly just him. Now it’s mostly all Russel. Doctor Who always seems to do best when there’s a revolving team of writers and not one guy and sometimes his friend helping out.
