This video has it ALL! Skits, laffs, compelling information, creativity, and more! Old skool RU-vid sensibilities with production value punching above its weight. In a perfect world, it would have 1 million views... but this is not a perfect world.
@VerdanaVideos I've been thinking about this lately. The format of "video game man talks about thing" doesn't easily lend itself to collabs.. but your sense of humor & editing style are too good. I've got a few ideas in the docket for humorous video ideas in the vein of my 3DO one. I'm not sure exactly when I'll be working on them, but it'd be awesome to have you produce your own segment. I'll have to give it some more thought. If you ever have room for video game man in a video of YOURS, plz let me know I'd love to cook something up for you too.
@@Majuular Yeah man, I'd love to. I'm planning on making a video about Sonic the Hedgehog games soon and if you'd be down to make a section for that video, I think it'd work well. I greatly enjoy your style of analysis and would be honored to have you appear in one of my videos. Lemme know what you think.
dude how are you not getting more views, your videos are so damn awesome and fresh, reminds me of some classic youtubers I used to watch, kinda gave me AVGN vibes. Most videos these days are just a bunch of screen recorded shit with a guy reacting in the corner, you put a pretty creative take on the topic and even added in a sketch and everything, I loved it lmao, at first I was like maaan I ain't gonna watch a 40 minute video about app ads, but it was totally worth it
There was this one ad that was playing some weird gospel music about martin Luther King and peace or something like that but the image in the ad was some weird 3d render of a brown creature staring into the camera and Im convinced that it was a transmission from aliens
Not sure how the RU-vid algorithm led me to this channel, but I came from the Slippin'Jimmy video and this is some really good content. Definitely deserve way more views than you're getting. Hope the algorithm leads more people here soon.
It is genuinely a crime that this video only has 8000 views. This channel has some of the most consistently funny and high-quality content on RU-vid but rarely receives the attention. It deserves. Keep up the good work.
Not gonna lie, you're pretty underrated. You put a lot of effort in the video, especially with the last part. By the way, will you rank some other band's discography, like King Crimson?
i pressed a like and was like that was fun and then i see theres only 99 likes and im like. huh wait how did i even get here. anyway keep up the good job my guy ! you're pretty entertaining :)
Kinda nuts I never came across this video before, but Im happy there's one sane voice who has been able to break down this genre of brainrot that I genuinely hate.
Hey Verdana, I absolutely love your channel and I know this video is a year old but I just wanted to leave this comment about the water drinking app. The sensation of "feeling thirsty" is a response to already being very dehydrated. My gym teacher in primary school would always say "Guys don't just drink when you're thirsty, drink water all the time. If you feel thirsty that means you already aren't drinking enough water". I did also check this on scholarly sources and yeah, the sensation of feeling thirsty is a response to large scale dehydration and you shouldn't rely on feeling thirsty as a reminder to hydrate as it's unhealthy and in a lot of cases leads to chronic dehydration. I still think the app add for this is awful and could be easily replaced with tools built into every phone already, but there is a lot to be said about using reminders to hydrate and I'd wager most people would benifit from drinking a lot more water every day. Cold water feels like crack when you're really thirsty for two reasons. One is that you're not sweating as much and therefore your body temperature is rising more quickly, making cold water feel particularly appealing. Two, your body is critically low on arguably it's most vital nutrient. Again man I love your videos (the angry review one was fucking golden and a hidden gem of youtube honestly) and I hate leaving comment essays but a lot of people shit on hydration reminder systems (personal example is everyone moaning at mee6 telling us to hydrate) while most of them are probably already dehydrated tae fuck. Hydrohomies forever, drink water. Lads you don't have to stop drinking other drinks just also drink enough straight water, it REALLY makes a difference.
I’m convinced that these games as well as their ads are the training ground for machine learning AIs. All it got to start with were the feeds of two moms on Facebook and ISIS recruitment videos. I won’t say it turned out well. Thank you for your service, Verdana. Someone had to do it.
I have a strong suspicion that some of the creators of these app ads are the same people who used to make those cursed RU-vid Kids videos that blew up and got purged a few years back. They also remind me of those old knockoff flash games that involved a lot of the same grossout stuff like bad teeth and surgery and the like. What I find most disturbing is that I'm pretty sure these people are injecting their fetishes into these ads. Pregnancy, farting, spanking, feet, humiliation, cuckoldry, etc. This is all fetish material. Now personally, I'm not one to kink shame. Fetish content isn't inherently a problem so long as it's enjoyed discreetly and that sharing is done in such a way that people who aren't interested can stay clear of it with relative ease. The issue is that, like the disturbing RU-vid Kids content, they're subjecting children to this stuff, likely with the intent to shock and grab their attention and take advantage of their naivete and morbid curiosity. Or maybe they just get off on getting paid through AdSense by exposing this stuff to unsuspecting people, including kids. It's honestly really messed up.
You’re going to blow up holy shit it’s just a matter of time. You hit EVERY single ad and that dumbass Justin Bieber one had me gritting my teeth after awhile. It makes me mad when the others only kinda get me mad…. Idk why.
OK so I get these ads *A LOT* but I haven't even seen a lot of the ones you showed here. Guess the rabbit hole goes so much deeper than I ever thought lmao. But who even makes these ads anyways?
~ its me, fess~ and i wanna rip my eyes out after seeing these ads thanks youtube ❤ ;3~ also this should have more views. Also of all the types of ads you covered what were the most painful to you?
3:56 confection creation ok i was close it IS creation and confection sounds like construction a bit 5:45 333 is an angelic number in Christianity so clearly by using 3333 they are trying to psychologically manipulate the weak-minded into seeking mobile games as a force mightier and holier than God. 6:01 OK there are better ways of putting that I'd figure. 15:00 what? no this is like, solid art. high c low b at least. you give an example of what you compare it to and it's so uncomparable that the joke flops even harder 34:58 I just want to acknowledge how clever this joke is I love it 36:40 SCRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATCH WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO what i'm wondering is why phone ads are so bad. like, yeah, ok, phone bad, and computers at least have SOME scam ads, though neve in video form, but phone ads are just SO MUCH WORSE. like, you'd think Google could just have the same ads, more or less? but no they let phones have ads then they have equal to or less than ZERO quality control it seems.
I cracked the code. Poeple. Poe ple. 3 333. Edgar allen poes 3rd poetic work was tamarlane. It was only 223 lines in the collected works, but its original version was 403 lines long, and line 333 was...no idea But the 33rd word of the 3rd part of tamarlane is heirdom. I came up to a punchline to this bit, but to find out you need to buy crystal flimbux to speed up the progress timer.
