I thought I could get back into this game, but the devs truly don't care about the disparity in legends and their weapons unless they're losing money, how ranked works, and EVERY. SINGLE. PLAYER. IS SO. FUCKING. TOXIC! It's a fun game to play, but only with friends in person. And if you're on console, don't even think about allowing cross-play either. It is far easier to play this game on PC than with a controller/analog stick. The duration difference in hand cramping is insane. But the worst of it is the community. Humans are evil, but ever more so when behind a screen knowing you can't retaliate. Fuck this game. Play Baldur's Gate 3.
does anyone ever find jab tilts inconsist? sometime my character just turns around and attacks the other way when i use it and sometimes it works so inconsistent
Try changing increasing your horizontal dead zone if you’re using the analog stick for your attacks. I was having the same problem and that fixed it for me.
Bugs was saying jokers down special in the air is useless when I was saying its a really good combo tool for following up with ur up attacks, im glad u brought that up in this vid
Yeah bugs doesn’t understand then how broken and easy it is to turn situations around. Down special - side special - up air is all confirmed and you don’t have to be ground lmfao
Harley is one of the most op and easy to use characters. Useless tutorial btw. Play an actual guy that take skill. Also “buffs” are not needed for a character that allows for easy combos and has the highest movement speed in the game.
Tip #7 is really, really bad advice if your goal is to improve. Doing whatever it takes to win ignores the objective truth that your current playstyle is always the easiest way to win, that changing or evolving your playstyle is hard, and that your current playstyle will not always give you a good path to victory. For example, at one point I was trying to learn how to do dlight recovery on blasters, and I lost a lot while trying to learn how to apply it in a real match. However, once I learned how to do it my blasters gameplay became much better, and the losses I had in the short term lead to more wins in the long term. Similarly, tip #11 is also bad because it's telling you how to win more, not improve. Tip #14 and tip #20 are also bad advice for a very different reason: simply being at a higher rank does not mean you're improving. Lucky matchmaking can lead to players getting a higher peak elo than their skill level should allow, and reaching a particular elo threshold by abusing a strategy that doesn't work against higher level players doesn't mean you've improved enough to play at that rank. Both can lead to discouragement that kills your ability to grow as a player, and does more to drive people away from the game than it does to keep people invested in their own improvement. There's also a severe lack of any tips surrounding having the right mentality for growth and improvement, which is the #1 thing holding most players back from improving, especially at low levels. People obsess so much over rank or get so discouraged from losing so much that they can't find a way to improve their own gameplay, and without fixing those mental blockages there's no way for those players to take your tips and apply them in-game. That said, I really liked watching this video because it really does provide a lot of useful tips and tricks on how to improve. The true combo list is really useful to me because I keep trying to do blaster dlight dair and swear it's never true when I do it but always true when my opponents do it, and knowing when I can or cannot do it is very useful to me.
