@@privateroadtexasoutdoors Thanks for reply !!! ive tried to look up and they say dont fit vehicle but there is some for e-vans and rangers, trying to find out if maybe could be one !!! Thanks again brotha.
Just got a Dorman one today 04 f350 dump truck and I have replaced 4 or 5 in our fleet. I haven't done one in a while and wanted a refresher. Thank you
Part # A1253EP is the cheapest option they have now through AutoZone. 4 years ago when I shot this I was able to get the whole set up for half of what they want now. And unfortunately I'm not sure what the specs are
Thank you, Brother! You and I have the same truck and I have searched high and low for a video specific to our model. God bless you Bro! You’ve saved me so much time and aggravation.
I'm having a hard time changing mine. I have an 03 f250 single cab and I can't get the fuel lines disconnected. I'm pretty much ready to just cut and replace them at this point. It doesn't have the same type of connectors as everyone's I've seen so far.
@@privateroadtexasoutdoors I ended up cutting the lines. It was a huge pain to try and hold a screwdriver in the clip while also attempting to disconnect it. Needed two hands but only hand room for one. Seems like the fittings are readily available and affordable. Got cold too quick to fiddle with it out in the driveway anyhow. Thanks a bunch none the less!
@@jahrjahr24 I picked up a fitting set from AutoZone to do mine they're usually pretty cheap and easy to use. Sorry for not explaining better in the video
@@jahrjahr24 I used gates baricade / for fuel injection 5/16 hose and two s.s. hose clamps on main fuel hose from tank to filter @ filter in oct. 2018 and ive never had a leak yet in sep. 22 !!!
I'am really disappointed in the T140 ~ i really though Craftsman was a better mower than that. POS ~ Now it want move in any gear, forward no reverse. So i park it, got on my pony, until the idler pully froze up i went over to my T140 to see what the problem was, took the battery out where i can look down into it and a freaking belt came off. How did it come off with a belt keeper on it IDK. So that looks like the problem. The dam belt slip off the engine idler pully. They must liquid welded the bolt on the thing and it to hot to work on it
I'am not happy with my T140 its a POS ~ Truthfully the dam troy built pony, is a lot better mower. But you do have troubles with the pony> on deck belts, and the engagement cable always breaking ~ Other than that! A great riding mower Plus there a lot of video to help with your pony! Plus parts for the pony are easy to get. Over the Craftsman T140
Its so new as well, there no part list on them, nor parts or videos . So it like going where no man been b4 he hee That 1 thing troy bilt ~ Got over on craftsman ~ I hope you don't have any issue with your mower. but i do! mine is not even a year old
I forgot to take the ignition out before I installed the new shifter tube and now I can’t get it to start. Any suggestions? Why does it need to be removed in the first place? Thanks
My 01 f250 tube broke so I got one I put it back together but I got to ask at the end of ur plunger should they be a spring on it and where your tube lays on your column my tube won’t go down on it so how do I fix that and my final question is are they a wire or cable under ur dash that u have to hook back up when my tube broke I didn’t see a spring anywhere thanks alot
ok there is a little arm that is held in with a pin down on the plunger end!!! no one shows this piece being taken out of the old plunger and being put back in with the spring. I got my parts at O'rielly and this piece was not connected to the new tube. now the question is, Does that little arm held in with that pin does it go in one way only or can it be put either way just lined up with pin??? got my parts altogether she shifts into gear but wont return to park! the handle goes back up, but down below does not, how do i fix this?
Sorry I'm a couple days late on this but it only goes in one way. Check to make sure the connection cable is fully seated in place and there's nothing blocking the arm. I hope this helps. Feel free to message me on Instagram @prtexasoutdoors and I'll get back to you faster than on here
You're going to make a video take this s*** out of your mouth. And speak clearly and say what you're going to say and get it over with. Other than that great video
Just a helpful tip on a how to video is show every step especially for some of the less mechanic type people who dont know anything about doing all the work you did previous to starting your video
@@privateroadtexasoutdoors Oh okay i have an 02 f250 5.4 v8 4wd and mine starts strong then dies out within seconds i changed spark plugs, idle air control, and oil, and still got the same problem im praying this is the fix, this is my first car bought it for 4500 im almost 6k in and i still gotta fix my horn and e-brake, i probably will just get a new truck next time
@@SoCalCitizen for me it was only a few minutes to get the tank off because there's wasn't much gas in it. Total time it took me from start to finish was about 2 hours and that was with a couple breaks
I picked up a few pointers from your video so thanks for posting! Having just completed the removal and replacement, your video makes a lot of sense. The tabs on the sides were a mystery until I just happened to figure out to grab the bottoms of each tab and pull outward to release them from the main plastic body. Much easier than squeezing the tabs on the top...just didn't work for me causing lots of frustration until I figured out a better way. Dropping the skid plate and tank was easier than I thought. Also, since I had a full tank of gas, using two plastic tubes and an air compressor made defueling a breeze (draining the tank by siphoning.) Good job!
@@privateroadtexasoutdoors CAN YOU EXPLAIN WHAT RICK TOMS COMMENT ABOVE WAS SAYING ABOUT THE GAS REMOVAL WITH TWO TUBE AND AIR. i NEDD TO REMOVE MY TANK WHICH IS FULL THE TOP RIGHT NOW. ANS SHOULD I DISCONNECT THE BATTERY BEFORE STARTING THIS PROCESS.
@@24coffee2day there's a hand pump you can get from Wal-Mart if you don't have an air compressor. You stick one end in your tank and the other in a can or multiple if needed to drain the gas out of your tank
