Thank you, Brother! You and I have the same truck and I have searched high and low for a video specific to our model. God bless you Bro! You’ve saved me so much time and aggravation.
Just got a Dorman one today 04 f350 dump truck and I have replaced 4 or 5 in our fleet. I haven't done one in a while and wanted a refresher. Thank you
@@privateroadtexasoutdoors Thanks for reply !!! ive tried to look up and they say dont fit vehicle but there is some for e-vans and rangers, trying to find out if maybe could be one !!! Thanks again brotha.
I forgot to take the ignition out before I installed the new shifter tube and now I can’t get it to start. Any suggestions? Why does it need to be removed in the first place? Thanks
My 01 f250 tube broke so I got one I put it back together but I got to ask at the end of ur plunger should they be a spring on it and where your tube lays on your column my tube won’t go down on it so how do I fix that and my final question is are they a wire or cable under ur dash that u have to hook back up when my tube broke I didn’t see a spring anywhere thanks alot
ok there is a little arm that is held in with a pin down on the plunger end!!! no one shows this piece being taken out of the old plunger and being put back in with the spring. I got my parts at O'rielly and this piece was not connected to the new tube. now the question is, Does that little arm held in with that pin does it go in one way only or can it be put either way just lined up with pin??? got my parts altogether she shifts into gear but wont return to park! the handle goes back up, but down below does not, how do i fix this?
Sorry I'm a couple days late on this but it only goes in one way. Check to make sure the connection cable is fully seated in place and there's nothing blocking the arm. I hope this helps. Feel free to message me on Instagram @prtexasoutdoors and I'll get back to you faster than on here
