Clearing Guide: Starts with Auto then Q on red buff, because the first camps aren't gated by a specific Q cd. W the krugs from behind, from red buff area. Let medium krug run ahead from big krug and Iso Q it. Wait til medium krug dies before using 2nd Q on isolated big Krug. W the 2 spawned little krugs. Start leashing big Krug out of patience range once Q is coming off cd, and finish it with autos and 3rd Q. Kill little krugs with 3 autos and a Q while kiting toward raptors, as efficiently as possible. Leash raptors with max range W, if you get lucky, you can damage 4 little raptors and finish the camp a second early possibly. Try to do small kites between autos to get the big raptor moving along the raptor wall, to the edge of patience range toward Wolves. Sometimes you'll get unlucky with the pathing rng like I did. After 2nd W on all the raptors, Q big raptor, then start walking toward wolves. Auto the small raptors with more HP remaining while kiting, then Q big raptor to kill it as it reaches end of patience. W big wolf plus one little wolf to leash, then kite them toward Gromp between autos and Qs on big wolf. Try to pay attention to the attack cadence of the big wolf, and try to auto when it autos, and kite when it is ready to move. There's multiple ways to clear gromp and blue, I'm not sure what's best. In the video, I wait til Gromp is at 200 hp, then move to W blue buff. Give gromp one more auto, then let it die to pet burn.
On blue clear, E is useful for leashing golems and the damage breakpoints and cds just work out better for E and Q to finish big krug and little krugs. On red clear, E leashing and damage breakpoints dont help as much I believe.
Many players know that cancelling Kaisa Evolve animation with E is superior to recall, as you don't waste a split second standing still. But I've never seen anyone use the hotkey method I use to make it foolproof. Just create a 2nd set of hotkeys with four keys that you don't use, all next to each other, for your E normal cast and Level Up Spell 1/2/3. In this video, I show it for hotkeys on [M] [ , ] [ . ] and [ / ]. Then just quickly roll your fingers across the four hotkeys, and you will use E while evolving however many abilities are available to evolve. In this case I also set a second hotkey for recall on [N] so that if E isn't off cd, I can easily Evolve animation cancel with Recall instead by rolling fingers across [N] [ , ] [ . ] [ / ].
You mean it seems strong to do, or not a fair representation of the clear? I give gold command for dark seal because I don't have passive gold income because I started the clear at 5 seconds (to save time). You can replicate it in a real game.
This channel has a ton of great clear videos, and they have one for Khazix this season. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NPLVLI690us.html
Is it possible that the Q used at 0:30 could be delayed slightly, then used to hit the Krugs too? But then I guess the not using Q off cooldown makes the clear slower overall?
Yes, it seems you have to miss an auto to walk red and krugs together into Q range before red runs out of patience, and theres little room for error, but it would be slightly faster.
No, E is same speed but lower health than W for raptors > red > krugs. E generally doesnt help you hit red buff much faster, and W passive clears Red buff moderately faster than E. This video was a bad example of optimal raptors clear (had to Q horizontally to line up raptors) BUT it didn't hurt the overall clear because the krugs are ultimately gated by the 3rd Q on little krugs, unless you can clear significantly faster. If you see my previous video of Ekko redside full clear, I take E level 2 (inspired by a video from Ascelon). E is faster in that clear because E is same or slightly faster than W on Krugs, and the dash lets you get Q off faster on raptors. (raptors is just gated by your 2nd Q cd.)
