I have always kept my key fob in my handbag in my bedroom, the furthest point away from my car. I’ve never had a problem with the battery dying before last week. I had the battery checked after I charged it and the battery is good, alternator is good. What should I do?

Remote start (if equipped), could only work via MercedsMe app on your smartphone. If your Navi is older and doesn't work with what3words, you can simply download it to your cell phone and use it as a standalone app, without your car.
Thanks to author for very detailed video. I know many people know this solution already but: the faraday cage is able to solve this problem aswell. If you have the same problem as the guy mentioned by Mr. author you can get any small box with the faraday cage in its construction for storing the car key inside during the parking time ... I am going to buy some small pouch/pocket with ring hanging besides the key so you can put it inside. PS: I was facing problem with sleepeing in my ex GLK(btw: very good car!!! Small but very powerful! Baby G :D) during my trips. Car was locking itself after some time so it was screaming and waking me up. I believe it is solvable with mentioned Box/pouch/whatever else ...
what3words can be used with Mercedes Navigation. It doesn't need CarPlay. But I don't remember if it was available on 2018 models. If not, you can use it on your cell phone without your car, as a standalone app.

I recently bought a 2007 GL 450 and changed the auxiliary battery and the big AGM Main Battery - NOW CAR WILL NOT START - closed the doors and NOW I am locked out and SPARE KEY DOES NOT WORK - $ 2 go online and Mercedes Mechanic says I have to take the KEY FOB IN to reprogram THE BRAINS as they were erased when I changed the old battery that was under the Passenger Seat in another hard place to get at as the AGM Battery is very heavy - so we will see what other problems happen ? other wise a very nice SUV !
Good day to you. Just want to ask, is the "Mirroring and rotation" setting applicable only to the rear camera? I was wondering if I could position the front camera device upside down and adjust the positioning via app. Will that be possible?
You can record upside down (although I don't see why, it's easier to install normally) because you can flip the footage on your computer using any video editing program, including many free ones.
I have an issue that bugs me. 2021 E450 All Terrain Even with fan on 1 the blower noise from behind me is annoying. I turned the vents off in the back but no reduction. For a car to be so quiet in the cabin it doesn’t seem correct. Maybe I’m missing something????
Actually, closed/restricted vents will create much higher noise than when they're open, so keep all vents open to max. Also, try to use climate control instead of the blower. Set the temp. And don't adjust the fan power. Of course, it will be loud for a few minutes, especially on a hot day, so don't set the temp too low, but once interior temp is reached, the car should quiet down.
If you have your phone with you while driving and the camera is connected to its wifi does it use data as though you are searching the internet the whole time?
You don't need your phone for the dashcam to work. It works by itself. You only need to use your cell phone if you want to change some settings or download footage.
After having the camera some time now, have you had any issue with overheating, problems retrieving files, or anything else? Also can you just record without linking it to your phone?

For 2023 model, I recommend going to any local Mercedes dealership since your car is under warranty and you can fix/adjust anything at no charge. Don't forget your seat belt is active, so it's a little loose, but if something happens, it will tighten its grip on the fly while driving.
