Unfortunately I have no idea. The only dinos I've even heard them talk about recently are Allo, Hypsis, and Dryos. I'm sure they'll rework Carnos eventually. The Cerato was given a vomit mechanic, so I'm sure they'll think of something for the Carno.... right?.... Right Dondi? D:
@@slig404 This was on Islander Semi-Realism. Sometimes I’m on Petit Pieds, but I don’t know why the server hasn’t been available. There aren’t any American servers that I know of, but EU has been treating me well :)
Lol! Yeah, well, not on Islander Semi-Realism server. Sometimes I jump in other servers to get away from the whole body down rule or respecting a corpse, but as a solo player and content creator, Islander has a spot in my heart. Also, it helps the server not get cluttered with so many bodies and lag all the time, which is a plus! But hey, if it's not your cup of tea, I respect it.
Do not play this game. This game is infested with cheaters in all of the official servers. You ever have somebody find you hiding in the middle of nowhere? Or happen to stumble upon you just after finishing a fight with some one and you are either low health or low stamina? Trust me is not a coincidence. There are two groups of people who roam all the official servers and are hacking. GAME IS UNPLAYABLE.
Yeah, I've actually had that experience even on the unofficial servers. I had a raptor run halfway across the map as I was a baby Cerato and pounce me while I was in a bush(recorded with F2 btw, he ran straight to me the same as you said). It happens everywhere, but hackers are usually dealt with on unofficial servers. If you want a better experience of the game, I'd advise you try one more time and join an unofficial server with low rules. Good luck, and I hope you have a more enjoyable time on The Isle!
@SuperbShiny sadly most of the unofficial servers are also infested, I have friends who play with ESP and is part of a discord. This is what he said... "The game isn't fun even if you are cheating now, because 50% of the players in all servers are also cheating and it becomes a game of cat and mouse to see who can grow the fastest before another cheater finds you first"
Oof... I honestly don't know then. I personally haven't run into any hackers with the new update, and as I said, most of them are dealt with especially if people are complaining about it on global chat. Islander Semi-Realism is the server I am usually on, and the admins there are usually spot on when banning a hacker.
@@WebberAerialImaging Honestly, I’m not against it if they do change it. The mutation is strong, a little overtuned, but gives you a fighting chance against those that are contesting you ESPECIALLY right after having a body down. Then again, it’s all about risking it for the biscuit! They could just keep it as it is. Like in the wild, not all fights are fair.
I think the ceras were eating during combat because of the eat to heal mutation. If that’s against those server’s rules sounds like the rules need updating since mutations changed gameplay a lot
Before the mutations, eating during combat was in a sense "bad manners" and a rule break if one were to contest for a body. Now with the Gastro mutation, at least protecting your hard earned meal will be possible. You'll be able to fight off those contesting you right after healing a bit, which is all fair in my eyes vsing those that didn't work for the meal. I see your point.
There's just not enough prey for the Carno to hunt, everything they keep adding is far above its weight tier to even attempt, I dont understand why they went from reasonable sized classes to immediately start working on things Rex and trike. Makes no sense.
Seriously... A dibble that just knows about the spar mode can already beat a Carno relatively with ease. It's exactly the same matchup as a Stego, except you get one shotted. Carno is in such a weird spot. It's as if they are made to balance raptors, ceratos, and dilos that HAVE a chance to hunt Diablos, Stegos, and sometimes Tenos.
@@SuperbShiny Ya, they keep sayin its a small game hunter but everything being added will demolish Carno. Unless they buff Carno, its not going to be played as much, same with Pachy and even Teno in the future when they add Maia thats just a bigger better version. Personally I feel like Kentro, Austro and Bary should have been worked on first and then Rujops, Monolpho, Avaceratop and Megalania.
I love how you mentioned Kentro, Austro, and Bary. Those would be befitting the current roster with Diablo being released. It would have more to contest with over diet, and threats you'd have to look out for. I'm glad they're working on Allo, and I'm hoping it just won't overpower the Diablo. Although that being said, supposed to contend the Stego.... and a full grown Stego can destroy Diablos. Oh The Isle devs... there has to be a better balance!
Northeast plains turned into a deadzone I rarely encounter players there now. Sometimes I miss when it was a hotspot because of the memories xD (hotspots are bad too dont get me wrong)
I agree with the hotspots being bad. It defeats the whole purpose of the migration zone. If only there were a way to actually make the migration zones more beneficial to Carnivores as much as Herbivores.
@@JoeBurner1720 Thats the problem. Areas like the Northeast plains are a forgotten graveyard. Even before the dibble update, it was exactly how it was in the video. I stayed there for a good 15-20 minutes and started to starve to death, WITHIN the migration zone. Hot spots are hard to balance don’t get me wrong, and as you say, migration zones should hold higher value for both carnivore and herbivore.

I'm so sorry for not responding sooner. I play on 1920x1080 resolution, 165 FPS limit, with ultra performance on Nvidia DLSS. Motion blur off, and everything is set on epic. The frame rate hardly ever hits 165, but it's there.
Honestly, I'd be happy for them to rework the Troodon. The pounce is very underwhelming. Although it's a cool idea to envenom and have stacking unlimited pounces after the 3rd pounce... there's no true noticeable debuff from the venom. For example, after a few bites from a Cerato, the bacteria makes you puke diminishing your hunger, thirst, and limits your stamina. You know, when a Troodon pounces twice the dino starts shaking, but I feel that they should be able to immobolize a target or make it difficult for the target dino to move around. It would be annoying to deal with, but that's what a Troodon's playstyle is, peskiness and a throw away playable. That's just my take, but I would love to hear other people's feedback.

I believe most of the footage was recorded in Petits Pieds. This recording was about a month ago when there were audio bugs of swimming, or 10 second sound delay.
Herra is my go to dino when I just wanna chill on my own. I go for dinos bigger than me. I kill fg omnis and dilos solo. If I wanna kill tenos and carnos and ceras, I need another herra with me though
I’m usually lazying about as much as a herbivore while on a Herra. It’s fun watching Dino’s roam around and see others interact with one another from above. Of course until a Pteranodon spots me and pecks my head XD. That’s happened a few times to me believe it or not it.
When you're wanting to pounce, don't pounce unless you know for sure you're gonna get them. If you're pouncing on a hill, get below them and then pounce.
@@SuperbShiny I wish it had its old growth, made more sense, I dont know what change they were talking about to make it more reliable, but that health buff barely did anything for it.
I stayed around the first Carno body as long as I could. That’s why I didn’t 3rd party until the bigger Carno walked up to the body and then stalked me off the body to bite at me. When it charged right after that scene I was back at the body, and the “Hold E to eat” didn’t display because I cut that part out. I was still at the body. Unfortunately the other 2 raptors I was with did RB by attacking the bigger Carno at the river, while we had a body down. Even if I explained to them, there definitely was a language barrier. In my perspective, the bigger Carno killed was in self defense, because he was hovering over my body down. It was a messy situation, and no, I didn’t have to claim the bigger Carno due to it attacking me while having a body down.

True. Hopefully they moderate the server better, or put up a password again. I try my best to uphold the server rules, but it’s extremely hard with so many randoms joining the server. We do what we can!
Seriously! The servers are packed with raptors, and a few troodons. The tail pounce/back packing animation is AWESOME. Everything feels good in my opinion.
They always were good, just had some bug issues. Tho i feel them to be bit to strong now, thats why the servers are basically only full of raptors, ceras, tenon and pachy. All but cera needs nerfing
Thank you for that, and yeah it needs a lot more work, but they’re headed in the right direction. Crossing my fingers for The Isle to keep up with good to great updates. There’s just not enough Dino games about survival that are good, so it’s little pickings in the niche.
Stego needs Rex So bad to have some sort of a Fight, and i have yet to see a NA server under 150 Ping, i swear they are based out of EU and just called NA cuz i have the same Ping on EU severs
I totally agree with the Rex vs Stego. I’m curious to know how much the Rex’s bite will be. And yeah, the rubber banding and lag is pretty bad. There’s too much stuttering. I was hitting 70-80 fps most parts at Southplains, so I can’t even imagine how bad it is at Eastplains.
