While teaching undergraduate courses at UCCS (University of Colorado at Colorado Springs), I mentioned briefly in an early lecture that if they were to connect an oscilloscope to the the AC outlet (in the US that is ~120V @ 60 Hz), that they could "see" the sine wave. Of course, some student tried doing that using a passive probe when I was not in the lab. BOOM! Thankfully nobody was hurt. The probe was toast. I was very careful what I said in future lectures!
hi sir, how to calculate the inductance value of resistor at high frequency. we have Keysight lab in our university we r having spectrum analyzer ,vna , oscilloscopes but idk how to calculate it. our oscilloscopes r having maximum of only 100 mhz so we cannot generate using it.
I feel blessed to have found this old man. He's such a good teacher, something that makes this RU-vid account to be such a good channel worth of my attention and subscription.
Hi, we have E4360A and after getting connected to the instrument we can change operational modes from the brower; BUT we can not see the graphical I-V curve plot shown in the video; what might be the reason for that ?
I'm loving this series but I guess, I started learning on an analog scope so it makes me nervous to think about jumping to a digital scope. Partially because a lot of the new digital scopes are so expensive if you want to get professional grade
dear keysight, i have a B2901B SMU. Is it compatible with the keysight benchvue software? When I set the software in demo mode, I cannot find the B2901B model... thanks
Sir hope you are fine I have question to ask from you. As I am following you on youtube. I am using keysight 2000 series DSOX2014A. It has specs like memory depth is 1MPTS and sampling rate is 2 Gsam/sec . As record length = measure time x sampling rate When I measure the measuring time to utilise the full sampling rate I.e 2 Gsam/sec . I have measure time = record length /sampling rate So MT = 0.5 msec total time length 0.5msec/10 = 0.05 ms / div But when I increase time per division upto 2U/ sec I have sampling rate 2 Gsam/sec . But when I go up to 2.1 usec it drop to 1 Gsamp/sec . Why ? It should maintain the sampling rate upto 50 Usec . Please help ...
My giant HP power supply has some really fat caps inside. I think they are in a similar range if all of the values are combined. That power supply looks so interesting. It has a lot of stuff inside I have never seen before. As it is sold for about 1000€ used (about 9000€ new back when it was released) I think that is to be expected. Luckily I got that thing for free because it wouldn't output any power. I found a tiny blown fuse the size of a resistor and after replacing it, everything worked as it should. I'm happy I was able to save that thing from the trash. It can output 0-60v and 0-50A (combined max. 1000w). It's really useful for a lot of stuff.
Thank you I would like to measure R.I.F.E. Frequency that I hear. I would like to be able to put in print what I find, also have an opportunity to jam the signal, can you help me understand how to do this ?
this is a great solution for remote internet and logging data . do you have any solutions for the actual remote daq that you can mount in box and leave on some device to measure?
How does the instrument know the temperature? Does it have a third sensor? How to extend the wires to the sensor? Is it just to extend with a good copper wire?
ok bro great i want to know the software name and can i analysis the inverters different connections like first i make only one string and connect with inverter and check its result then make two string and connect with dual MPPTS separetly and get graph and result through this software or not
