Johnny Winter , One the pillars of texas rock and Blues along with other great guitarist of sll time Should be taken into account by Tolling Stone magazine 🎸🎸🥁🎹
I saw Johnny along with James Cotton and J Geils at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle in 1975, he blew all of us away that night. The epitome of guitar slingers!
Mick Taylor is the greatest guitar player the Rolling Stones ever had and one of the best blues players of all time! Likewise, John Mayall is the the godfather of English blues. Great voice! What a killer combination!
She's a pretty woman right down to the bone So you just might as well still leave your skin alone Pretty woman What's the matter with you Can't make you love me, no matter what I do Oh pretty woman what you trying to do You kept on foolin' around till I got stuck on you So you just drop that mess and come down off your throne Stop using my poor heart as a stepping stone Pretty woman What's the matter with you Can't make you love me, no matter what I do Oh pretty woman that's all right for you Now you just go on doing what you want to do But someday when you thing you've got it made You get in water deep enough so you can't wade Pretty woman What's the matter with you Can't make you love me, no matter what I do
Who else could tie up such a stunning line up of talent to produce such a stupendous example of English influenced blues. Take a bow Mr Mayall OBE We all owe you so much.
Mick Taylor made the right choice when he left the Stones because he needs plenty of time and freedom to express himself musically on stage via his solos...which was impossible with the Stones.
Just loved Mayall since hearing Laurel,Canyon at s howl music lessons . At last my daughter got tickets for his 80th tour in Aberdeen, cancelled st last minute and he’s never come back , devastated , but still listen to him , got all vinyl from Beano to Jazz Blues Fusion .
Here are true masters at work, after 50 years listening to rock and blues 💙... That Buddy is such a great player...matched to Mick, another masteris incredible. That's the video that lead me to Mists of Time .... One of the most beautiful songs ever written 🌬️
I love the way Mick is getting those Albert King nuances by plucking with the flesh of his fingers and thumb...Mick is mostly fingers though Albert was all thumb. Gives the tone and attack a real human quality! And of course Buddy Whittington is always fantastic!
