Bits stuck everywhere. Ugly aircraft which i believe had the fuselage packed with table tennis (ping pong) balls to allow the plane to float if brought down on water. Highly inflammable though.

WHY?????? You are in the US? Why not use YOUR real voice? I HATE the lazy people whon use AI CG voice-overs. I am going to Don't Recommend Channel. You are lazy, and expect us to tolerate your laziness in using an inefficient programme that cannot speak, or structure sentences. Goodbye forever.

Floats on a zero would cause drag which would slow the plane down

I have a little information: at least one was in copenhagen in 1945 and was sunk by the british in an airshow shortly after. I knew a witness. Getting around a lot in copenhagen I met someone many years ago who said he knew where the propeller were. Divers had picked them up, before or after diving here was forbidden. The plane was taken up for restoration not many years ago

Yes, that definitely lets down.the credibility. Almost as much as some of the thumbnail pics on this channel, where the wrong plane is shown! The way the fake voice tries to say millimetres; "millometres" was funny the first time, but then it's just irritating.

Air Warriors World War II warplanes| U.S. Air Force| Douglas DB-7/A-20 One of the most famous twin-engine bombers of World War II, the Douglas DB-7/A-20 "Havoc"/"Boston" had quite a long history. In March 1936, the Northrop Company began to proactively design a twin-engine attack aircraft under the designation "Model 7A", an all-metal high-plane with retractable tricycle landing gear with a nose strut, under the direction of E. Heinemann. Subscribe to the channel, and you will learn a lot of interesting facts about military aviation. #militaryaviation #planesofWW2 #armamentandequipment #USplanes

A pair of "twin" aircraft conceived as the Royal Navy's main aircraft, but which failed to live up to expectations. The story of their development began in 1934, when the British Air Ministry issued specification 0.27/34 for a two-seat multipurpose deck aircraft. #militaryaviation #planesofWW2 #history #Britishaircraft

Sorry, but computer narration gets this video a "dislike". In case the producers don't know it, this type of narration is choppy and hard to follow. It may impress some immature people, but most of us are looking for information and entertainment, and having to work to understand the narration is NOT my idea of entertainment!

Why it would be "vee" at first and volt later I don't understand., The V in V-12 is just that, a "vee". It stands for the engine configuration. it's a vee shaped 12- cylinder engine, six cylinders to a side. And yes, lots of other distracting mistakes.

Air Warriors World War II warplanes| U.S. Air Force| Martin PBM "Mariner" The Martin PBM "Mariner" was one of the best seaplanes of World War II. Built in fairly large numbers, it greatly outperformed its direct competitor, the Consolidated PBY Catalina seaplane. Martin's product had a more modern design and better flying characteristics, including flight speed and payload. Nevertheless, the Mariner did not catch the glory of the Catalina, remaining in the shadow of its more famous "classmate" throughout the war. Air Warriors World War II warplanes| Luftwaffe| Messerschmitt Bf-108 In early 1933 Willy Messerschmitt began designing a single-engine, four-seat touring (sporting) aircraft aimed at participation in the annual Challenge competitions, popular in Europe at the time. The machine, which received the designation M-37 and was soon replaced by the Bf 108, was a rather innovative design: an all-metal monoplane with a low-lying wing and retractable landing gear. Air Warriors World War II warplanes| Romanian planes| IAR 80/81 History of creation, flight characteristics By the end of the 1930s, the core of the Romanian Air Force's fighter aviation consisted of P.11f and P.24 planes produced by the IAR company (Industria Aeronautica Romana) under Polish license. Their characteristics did not meet the requirements of the time, so the question arose about the necessity of renewing the fighter fleet. Taking into account the experience accumulated by the domestic industry, it was deemed advisable to make an attempt to develop a modern fighter by our own efforts. In January 1936, the headquarters of the Regia Aeronautica (Italian Royal Air Force) issued requirements for a prospective twin-engine multi-role fighter-attack aircraft, capable of reaching a speed of 470 km/h. Air Warriors World War II warplanes| U.S. Air Force| Bell P-63 "King cobra" The Bell P-63 "Kingcobra" was the only single-engine U.S. Army fighter aircraft in development after Pearl Harbor to be put into production before the end of World War II. "The Kingcobra was an attempt to significantly improve the flight and tactical performance of the P-39 Airacobra fighter, and although it resembled its predecessor in appearance, it was essentially a new aircraft. The main innovations were the installation of a more powerful engine and the use of a laminar wing profile. Air Warriors World War II warplanes| U.S. Air Force| Curtis SOC "Seagull" The Curtis SOC Seagull was the last Curtiss biplane in service with the U.S. Navy. The development of the airplane under the brand index "Model 71" was conducted in accordance with the requirements of the Bureau of Aeronautics for a new ship-control plane, issued in early 1933. The "Curtiss" project combined, on the one hand, a rather archaic biplane scheme, and on the other - a number of advanced solutions.
