4:33 I completely agree with Eliwood, but I'd also add Leif. He has 2 versions in Heros and is in a Duo with Seliph, and then in Engage he doesn't even represent Thracia 766, instead he represents Genealogy again.
Please nerf 2-F and buff the dog. The level with magic disadvantage is almost unplayable. The dog keeps dying to everything. It almost pulls my hair out. 2-F is a final straw to me. Also please please give defense character like Frankie and knight some speed buff and res buff. Literally two shots by any magic user.
Loved Hard Mode as a kid. Normal mode is the first playthrough, Hard mode is the second playthrough. As an adult today, Maddening is infuriating at times but pretty satisfying to beat once you get the hang of it.
When it comes to ambush spawns, they’re a double edged sword. I’d think some bandits are stupid if they come out behind me and pretty much go “Heyyyyyyyy you guys!” because they wouldn’t realistically do it after getting debriefed. However, it sucks for the player when you have no clue about it and you lose a unit. In my opinion, ambush units are fine on hard and higher difficulties, if they are to be included in future games. “Hard” gets described as a difficulty meant for people who know the series, so people who know the series should expect ambush tactics occasionally. I’d then add a “medium” difficulty intended for players who are experienced with Fire Emblem but don’t want any ‘unfair’ additions to the game.
What I feel we need is a mage fighter (besides Robin) in smash, which I believe may help in diversifying the fire emblem characters in the roster. The same can be said for axe and spear users as potential options if instead a mage doesn't work out.

As soon as I heard the developer of Food Devils was an actual FE modder I literally rewound the vudeo just so I could rewatch the ad in it's entirety. Honestly, i wish for a ArcSys Fire Emblem fighting game. Kinda like either Granblue Versus or Guilty Gear. And yeah, yet another Muso, but with more mainline games involved, not just Shadow Dragon, Fates and Awakening or just Three Houses.
One of my favorite supports from this game came from Inigo trying to romance Lucina while also having dialogues from time with Nah where it feels like Inigo doesn't get through Lucina and then sulks at a bar where Nah is staying and talks with him about his misadventures and that he maybe should change his approaches to find someone he can be with xD

You mention towards the end that maybe the Slitherers could be redeemed if they stopped believing the "misinformation" fed to them by Thales. How do we even know that is misinformation? My two big problems with this game are that you don't have the chance to kill Rhea regardless of the route you choose, and that Solon's imprisonment spell is not the reason for the time skip. If it took Byleth 5 years to break out, than Solon really did something besides powering-up his factions ultimate rival.
As far as how classes relate to the magic triangle, I’d argue that modeling light after swords, anima after lances, and dark after axes could work. With this, light magic would be accurate and lightweight at the cost of stopping power, anima magic would be balanced across all three of these aspects, and dark magic would sacrifice accuracy and a low weight in exchange for a greater damage output. As far as the strengths of these magic categories go, it would be similar to their strengths in the GBA games. With the strengths of these magic types, the magic classes could be built, such as a light mage having stats akin a myrmidon.

Sniper has very good growths for maximizing crit rate due to it having the highest bonuses to Dex and Luck. This is most relevant for characters who already lean towards that anyway, but most especially Leonie, who can camp in Sniper for a long time without gimping herself in other stats. Once her crit rate is sufficiently nonsense, train her in Assassin and Swordmaster to acquire Lethality and Astra, and then keep her in Swordmaster with whatever has the most crit (Cursed Ashiya Sword+ is of course optimal) Lethality's activation rate is 1/4 crit rate. Astra attacks 5 times. With this setup, Astra is effectively a delete button for any monster that isn't outright immune to Lethality.
I know its in super smash bros and not in a fire emblem game, but when you defeat marth or ike as lucina in a 1v1 in super smash bros she utterly destroys them "THIS is the hero king?" "And they call YOU the radiant hero?" And when you defeat lucina as robin in a 1v1 robin says "How can you protect chrom when you cant even protect yourself?" Its crazy how good these are.
the worst part of 3H is how short it is, regardless of which route you take. youll get some absurdly overpowered characters by the end, but then its the end. you only get to use them like this for 2 or 3 chapters, sometimes. max speed petra was one of my favorites, with defiant avoid, sword proficiency, and dancers avoid skill. it was literally 100% evasion on every enemy for the final chapter. warp her into a forest deep in the enemies area, and end phase. whered they go??
I can see they did their darndest to add the average high fantasy novel into Fire Emblem. Including the 40 page chapter where the main character finds a chapter in a book of poems about a man named Fœřmųņ the tree fighter, where he encounters a gang of Grũğñħæphen trees and escapes via a spark of magic light through the ŷħmüńfïr Apple before saying “ファック ユー！” which means “I hope you can let me atone for what I have done” in a language from an unknown land in the far east.
please consider giving the madoka movies (well 3 and the hopefully soon to release 4) a go! they are incredibly beautiful animation wise and artsy to an extreme. It’s definitely a movie/series you might have to watch multiple times as it is not afraid to leave you confused but rebellion is probably my favourite movie of all time and both artistically and emotionally. reviews are super split but they reflect the shaft going for something out there and if any studio does that well it’s shaft.
I liked the gba triangle, I could run multiple mages and they all did something different. The Radiant games were different enough to where magic got me excited again (weapons too) by having so many different classes
Your avatar is so detailed and full of reference as if it could fit in as its own fire emblem character, or even suikoden. I'm usually embarrassed by RU-vidr avatars but I'm surprised to find that yours is actually good.
I never go into this game saying how broken do i want to make things. I just generally stick characters to whatever classes they favor and don't customize it too much, if at all.
