Are you a fan of hand tools? Maybe you're a fan of Snap on Tools, Harbor Freight Tools, Mac Tools, Matco Tools, SK Tools, or even Cornwell Tools. Either way, here at Garnett Tools, I've got a little bit of everything. Not to mention I also review those quality tools that many around this great country have not even heard of.
I mean I've done videos on brands like Knipex Tools, PB Swiss Tools, Koken Tools, Facom Tools, Nepros Tools, and even Gedore Tools. Yes, from Germany to Japan to Switzerland, I review em all, and give you a healthy dose of eye candy while I'm doing it.
Trust me when I say; There's a little here for everyone. So stick around a little, poke around, and have a look at all the amazing brands shown here.
Cheap knockoff or better value offering? I understand american made is cool for 3x the price. If people are mistaking it for coming from the same factory that must say be saying something.
HF is about to price ppl away. What brought me there was the price and warranty. Now for the price, you can get other mid level name brand tools with a better warranty. I individually priced and compared 40v power tools customized to my needs and itd be cheaper to go to lowes and get dewalt tools
“By one of your fellow Americans” bro I could care less frankly I’m not gonna pay what 100?200? For a pair of pliers yall got robbed and try so desperately to be like “the quality” where if I break my tool life time warranty whenever I want yall gotta basically beg a dealer just to give you the time of day
They're $60, on top of that the Snap-on pair is not the only USA MADE option. let me guess you're one of the guys who complain about unemployment but are unwilling to pay the small difference it takes to actually support those American jobs. Go figure.
This is one of those videos that says things without context to draw emotion. They probably warrantied the others out and didn’t change the sticker on it.
My local harbor freight doesn't put all the open box/ return stuff in a certain place. They place it back with the same types of tools. I would prefer to have it all in one spot instead of having to look for purple tags.
What SPECIFICALLY makes those snap ons worth me having to go find a used one and pay $700-800 when i bought a new gen 3 34" cart in the color i wanted for $479 plus tax (6%)? It does everything i want so why should i play the craigslist game, pay more and probably not get the color i want on a used box?
My US general tool cart is solid. But I have noticed some of their smaller boxes being like that. I'm looking for a larger box for my home garage. I have been looking at the 72" box but may end up either going with the Icon box or waiting to see a nicer used box for sale.
EP Auto on Amazon is the same as Icon but far cheaper I like some of the Icon line but some stuff is a little pricey and I can get better or same quality stuff for less money other than that they do have some good value items
Even the original price is insane imo. I got a set of KTool ones off the matco for $163. Full set. Same company makes the Icon, KTool and Mountain wrenches
harbor freight > snap-on. why? i could tell you about 5 reasons 1. Veteran Treatment 2. US employment and Benefits 3. Warranty service 4. Non-aggressive tactics 5. Employee friendliness snap on is just the chinese rolex of tools.
The fact that it's also a display and some 16 year old pry half ass put it together in the back of HF, your video proves nothing. Everything is losing quality every year. Big names suck as bad as the small ones. Some people get lucky some don't. Some are willing to pay a premium for warranty and some aren't. Either way, the quality of everything is junk and poorly engineered, no matter who it's from.
