Must have got my old one! It was a rusty it wouldn't even run. Swapped it for a new that I've used maybe 5 times & that tank is already aarting to rust & I have not used any ethanol in it. Why these don't have a plastic tank is beyond me.
OMG thank you so much for posting a video like this. My wife and I were gifted a Mr. Coffee maker for our wedding 10 years ago and it just went out. I feel like I have to fix this for our marriage sake :)
Nice video Mike. Thank you for sharing. Found the part number in the comments (NTE8213 216 C). Both mine are shot and so is the thermal switch. One tip on those security screws is that once you get them off (cheap security bits are available from many sources), replace them with standard screws (most of us have an old cup of screws from tearing apart other small appliances!).
Good morning Mike, I live here in Brazil and I bought the same radio ABBREE and I found the same problem, I think that in fact the Chinese sell this radio like a cat in a poke! i.e. fool everyone! stating that you listen to the aeronautical track you can even listen but it's that bad! bad! it was a disappointment to have this AR-518 thing from china! And the worst thing is that he stopped receiving aviation, I already put the startup option in his menu but nothing! I don't hear anything anymore. bad equipment. Thank you for showing this video because now I see that I was not wrong in my thoughts about this Chinese radio!
I bought a used cruser with 30miles on it knowing no warranty on it . But have a faulty rear break switch . I fix it buy adjustment with a very small screwdriver. So far so good. The bike go anywhere. Number one psa set at a crawl.
And Superman is "The Man Of Steel". Like it. It should be mentioned that this radio absorbs UV5R "code plugs" natively in Chirp. Therefore for me, it's the easiest new radio I have recently found. I have a lot of respect for this model. It looks resilient, but not particularly rugged.
I have two 2016 Radrovers and they would send the part for free under the 1 year warranty; but, you had to install yourself. A lot of emails, videos, trouble-shooting, and chat sessions just for them to send a replacement part. I started to rotate my ebike fat tires at around 700-1000 miles like I do on my car because of excessive rear tire wear. I was able to get 2X the tire life. Thinking about upgrading my Radrover to the Himiway Cobra or Cobra Pro (mainly for the 20 Ah vs my old +8 year old 11.6 Ah rover battery).

it sounds like the radio isn't even going to AM. it sounds like it is still in FM. I have this radio and I just tried putting in a Air band frequency and with in chirp the Modes available are FM and NFM it does not give me an AM option. I think it's a firmware thing with the radio

Hello, I'm having a similar problem with my Mr Coffee. I checked and there is continuity on both of the fuses but I'm not getting continuity on that third point you checked. The two nodes going to the heating element itself. The light comes on when it is plugged in and switched on but it doesn't heat up and the coffee does not brew. Do you have any idea what might be wrong with mine? Thank you for the video. Cheers.
When buying an e-bike, it’s important to get back up when needed. I’m no bike mechanic and don’t want to be when spending that kind of money. I will be purchasing an e-bike shortly and still attracted to the WAU Bike here in the UK. Thanks for the excellent informative video Mike.
I have a 48v and 28.8 ah battery, I've been using it for 17 days, but yesterday it didn't turn on, when I put it on the charger the panel turns on and shows 100% charged, without the charger the panel doesn't turn on, the battery doesn't pass energy to the electric bike, can you tell me what the problem is?
So I returned the first one and ordered a second. It was locked in tone squelch, and my computer wouldn't allow me to download software. I bought third party software. Radio worked 1 hr before failing. Its going back and I'm done with these.
@@kensakamoto258 That's too bad, I'm guessing that you did not purchase from Ali Express. I just complained and they gave me a total refund and told me to just keep the radio. FYI the frequency copy on that radio is the only good part about it, it will copy a frequency from 75 feet.
Iv gotten comments saying to refill them, they were only on the bike for maybe 1200 miles and they were weak from the beginning. if they require that amount of maintenance, Ill stick with the mechanical line pull brakes.
