My dog has collapsing trachea and congestive heart failure. She coughs so hard sometimes that she falls over.but she plays , eats, drinks. Her quality of life is still pretty good. Shes 12 and wouldn't survive surgery, and cannot have steroids because of the congestive heart failure. Its a matter of time,i realize that . Watch out for harnesses, they stillpress the trachea. I finally found a harness that is perfect, i googled best harness for dogs with collapsing trachea.
I lost my little Chihuahua today for kidney disease, he was my partner for 15 years, amazing, lovely and expressive dog. We are in deepest grief right now.
Hopefully you can help me because the local Vet couldn’t. My sweet baby’s eye is dialated and bulging slightly. They did a dye test and pressure test and said everything was normal. The eye also seems to have decreased movement as if it’s lazy. What am I dealing with here?
My puppy has been diarrhea and shitting & pissing everywhere the past week! She just did it and I’m done. She got it all over the floor then proceeded to slip in it, shake and got it on me. If this doesn’t work. Im rehoming her🤦♀️
I started giving iodine, and I take aswaganda so will give her that. She has no hair loss. She had a womb infection and after spay she got really sick.
Hi Doctor, After 4-5days of surgery my dog straining to pee, he is standing in the pee position for 1minute. However, after saline, he is peeing normally again. Is it normal post surgery or something to worry?
Lost 3 puppies to parvo... not all at once since we got one pup after the other passed and when that one passed we got another one. The frustration when you are a new dog owner and don't know what's killing your dogs. All you know is a few days with us they start vomiting foam, having bloody diarrhea, they stop eating and a day or 2 later die. I went from maybe someone is poisoning them to just asking myself all sorts of questions. Not up to getting another pup for now until we are ready as the loss of the 3 is very hard on us. Our yard is soil... how do we disinfect soil 😢? This virus is something else. Their names were Milo, Kilo and Poppy.
My dog has sudden lost vision he’s only 3 years old. Was told he’s got detached retina in both eyes. He’s on medication and eye drops. Can his retina reattach? He’s also taking steroids eye drops. His eyes are dilated. Looking for any suggestions. He’s blood work is negative, waiting on urine test results.
My labrador turns into a pancake followed by a worm. She hates the noise the bottle makes so I squirt it in but don't stop squirting until the bottle is out of her ear. Another way, although not as effecrive, is to soak the cotton wool and squeeze the fluid into the ear.
