Congrats mate, nice work , I have the same Revell kit and still working on it trying to fix the several inaccuracies mainly the four turrets Anton, Bruno, Caesar and Dora, these ones comes wrong moulded from the box, less in length for about 1 milimeter (0.35 m in 1/350 scale) and exceed in height for about 1 milimeter also.
I do believe George the first video I watched of yours was the diorama build. Or might have been your stash videos, which made me think...ah not just me then!!

@@GeorgeModellingforBeginners certainly is. I have a fleet of over 50 ships 1:350 scale all WWII, I'll never get to your level, but I do have fun building them
@@skunkworksalpha7868 very impressive. As I do not have a lot of shelves space I try to make the most out of each kit. I only finished 4 ships so far (mixed WWI and II plus a modern Japanese). I think my next build will be the Hood. Next year maybe.
Only seen this vid now. Looks like brilliant Tiger 1 kit, but oh my God. Those individual guide teeth. You deserve a medal. Tried them on Meng Panther D. Couldn't continue. They drove me insane. Used old Tamiya rubber bands instead.
Is there any major gap or alignment issue like the top & the panels front and back? In retrospect, any step you would have done differently to avoid any gap or alignment issue?
That was my initial thought when I tried to fit the back subassembly pieces, that I did something wrong. However after discussing with other modellers, this is a well known issue that came across almost anyone. What I would do different was to try modify, cut the pieces and fill with putty while were unpainted and dry fit them before start paint them.
Hi there. You chose quite challenging kit for your first model. I think you will have better chances if you go back and forward through the instructions and assemble as much as possible before start painting. I tried in the past to paint first all the individual colours and then put them on the model but gluing them painted as they are is always a challenge. I hope I help you a little bit but do not get discouraged as you chose a complicated kit to start.
They are not that bad and I certainly prefer them from the individual tracks. I never tried metallic workable tracks before mainly because they are so expensive.
Great kits both of them but I have to say that I enjoyed the Sherman build more even though the Tiger I is my favorite tank. Good luck with your build :)

Many thanks! I think I can understand what you are talking about and I will try to add more explanation in the future videos. Meanwhile let me know if you have any specific questions. I constantly forget the beginners eye and some of the steps (like add more texture) might look odd. I watch a lot of RU-vid master modellers like Nightshift and I guess I take for granted some of the techniques.
Nice vid - useful insights for when I have a go at mine! 😁 Particularly noted the extra plastic scrap to brace the main seam 👍. May I ask what the 3 large blobs are inside the hull - looks like plasticene. Were you aiming to add some weight to the model?
Thanks. The 3 large blobs are plastic goo made by melting sprues on a vase with a 100% acetone. I put them to increase the weight of the model and rigidness of the joint but in some places the acetone ate through the plastic and I would not recommend it.

Great work George! patience? well i would have walked away from it for ages till i was ready to go back to it that part at the back is a bad fit for some of these kits ( i have had a few believe me!) but some plasticard would have filled it nicely... nothing ever goes right with vehicles... I have just bought this kit so your video has gave me some horrors to look out for so i am forearmed! talking about bad fits I had a 1/8 scale Monogram pontiac firebird years ago, all was ok apart from the hood which was warped slightly and the mould line across the rear boot showed up like a sore thumb.. the kit was gloss black from the factory thats the only thing that made me prime and respray it, anyway thanks for your great videos all 4 of them made great informative viewing!.. thank you!
Thanks David. The more effort you put, the more satisfaction you feel at the end. But I am glad my model came out decent at least. I display it at my living room (the only model my wife allow me) and most people they do not even notice it. But I feel for you for the pondiac, you must spent many hours sanding, painting and varnishing just for a little detail to agitate you.
@@GeorgeModellingforBeginners It was very noticeable so much so it was like a shadowline on a real car.. it had to be done. got my Routemaster today it had been held up on the amazon website why god knows! all there apart from the decals! sods law. contacted Revell today 2- 4 weeks for a response from their HQ in Germany they dont keep parts/spares here in the uk apparently. I bought an Italeri 1/24 mk 2 ford transit (1982) that will be in red the same as London Transport for a diorama service vehicle 1/24 delivery driver (Hank) on order too..
