I really do admire your devotion to a project and your sheer determination to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. Those so called castings had more bubbles than the plastic wrapping they came in. Please keep doing all this stuff so that I don't have to. My regards and respect.......
Wow truth does hurts 🤣 I appreciate what you say and to be honest while I went through all the sanding and filling, it crossed my mind that this might be far easier if I just scratch build it from foam. But to be honest I would never attempted that as I do not have the skillset yet. And off course I would attempt to do any other Gero design cast kits unless they are significantly improve their process. Saying that I am fairly happy with the results and in Part 2 you will see that most of the voids are not visible.
