2:35 Not so fast. It is very important to inspect the inside and the outside of tire for what caused the puncture in the first place (metal wire, glass shards,...) before putting back the tube. Blowing air inside might help to get shards out. Otherwise, you have a puncture again instantly.

I have a 1996 TREK Mountain Track 820 with a Shimano Altus FC-CT91 Crankset. I'm having issues finding a similar crankset to install. It's a 38/32/24 tooth crankset. Can I install a different size crankset ie., 42/38/24? Would that work? Would appreciate anybody's input. Regards

The mechanic forgot that the quick release when tightened will slight compress the axle, increasing the bearings preload, the correct way is to take that in account and adjust the hub to have a little of play (the amount of play depending on how much tight do you like your quick release to be)

One thing not to do with a torque wrench is to undo screws... it stretches the spring and sets the torque to an incorrect amount.

Mate u better check the inside wall of your tire before u place the patched inner tube, make sure there is no nail or something harm ur inner tube

If you cannot see or hear the puncture, put the semi-inflated tire in a bath of water and see where the bubbles come out.

Rather funny for me, being Dutch to see this explained. Here it's something you often learn at home, part of growing up. The tools to repair are also less sophisticated as the one in the video. Not checking for that what causes the flat tire. I learned that the hard way. Won't forget to check that since
