Awesome video, I have seen this done before and completely forgot about it, thanks for reminding me off how much fun this is, Making a baby journal and want to add some of the fabric to it, will definitely remember to do this with the fabric I am using, love your videos.

Beautiful journal! I love all the little added details you put in the journal. I made a Kraft-tex journal and my pages are too short. Could you share with me how you extended your pages? How do you know how much to add to the end of the paper. Do you glue them and then sew them on the ends. Thanks for any information you can share with me.
Thank you! Yes, if the pages are too short I usually will fold a piece of paper hotdog style to the width that will extend it the proper amount. To determine how much just set the signatures in the book and kind of estimate or measure how short they are with the book closed. As long as you have the signature covers close it’s ok if the inside pages are a little shorter. To make it even easier, sometimes I will fold the scrapbook paper off center so that one side is the correct width and the other side is significantly shorter. Then I can just match the shorter end to the correct size end (edge to edge) and I know it’s the correct width without checking. I do glue and also sew. I hope this helps, if it’s too confusing let me know and I’ll try to explain it better or show it on video next time I do that. Don’t you love Kraft-Tex? I just love it. I love these. My daughter just brought me the Daddies book last week from a local thrift store, so thanks for the inspiration. Too late for Father's day but maybe for my husband for Christmas.
I absolutely loved every thing you did. I have plans to make some clusters for sure! I took some pics as well so I had a quick reference. I love to watch you flip through completed journals. It's super great to watch your process videos to hear your decision making process. It helps me learn. I have been collaging and harvesting books. Ephemera is my thing lately. Now I need to make some journals!
I think the name of the fabric you loved is called ‘ticking’ and it was used for pillows and mattresses so the stuffing couldn’t escape through the weave of the fabric. Ticking is more tightly woven so the feathers couldn’t get out. Love all your vintage sheets, grew up with some of those!

Hi I’m Lacey I’m new to your channel! I’m not even a journal maker and I love watching and learning…… I have made a couple journals but not like most of you!! I have all the supplies and I’m thinking about making some to sell! Maybe you have some advice?!

They are 3 inches. I believe I purchased from hobby lobby but it was several years ago so I’m not 100%. You could also get the circle dies if you have a die cutting machine already, would be more economical.
