Cool. That reminds me, I've got a smaller black tongue drum (as well as bongos, hand drums and shakers). Must find a way to use them in a recording without annoying the neighbours.
Thanks! I've noticed my index finger flies outwards and away from the string when I'm plucking whereas my middle finger stays relatively close to the string, do you have any tips on how to fix this?
Usually I don't comment on RU-vid Videos but seeing both of you sharing your love for music and for each other brought a genuine smile on my face and made me very happy! I wish both of you nothing but the best! <3 Ps: Siiiick skills! 🤯
Personally I've used a Wilson Effects 12 position Q Wah for more than a decade. I've used it on an active 5 to a passive 4, J, P, P/J and it's never, ever let me down. I'm kinda an effects junkie.
Did you know there is another Paul Gray bassist, He' has played with Eddie and the Hotrods, The Damned, UFO and many collaborations. He plays Rickenbacker bass's and has a pretty unique technique that I compare to lead guitar. He has been back with The Damned (my favourite band since 1978) for quite a while now. Take a listen to the Damneds Strawberries and The Black Album for some of his best work, he has written some of the songs on the Albums, my favourite being The Pleasure And The Pain. All the best CiCi, hope you are felling better!
Hi Cici! Had this bass on my radar for a while now!. How would you compare the neck of the P-4 vs. the Fender and Sire ones? How flat is it vs. the two others?
Honorable mention to Sire, I'd pick the Shecter. I think it can get a warmer sound if needs be, it can deliver more so it can do less so to speak, and it's not '' too much active '', it stays within the spirit of a P bass, spending more time playing than fiddling with the knobs. A very good balance I think. Oh and the look. To me it reminds me of a cottage in the Alpes or in Switzerland 😂 it's as if they cut from the wall of one of those I've been to as a kid, it's a little bit kitshy mixed with modern notes and I love it, it has some character. Their exotic line is pretty unique.
Désolé,le commentaire correspond a la vidéo de la Bass Violon,et non a celle ci tout aussi intéressante👌et de plus, dans la continuité de la précédente '. Bonne continuation a Toi🎶😉
Danilo😉✌
I love seeing right-handed basses restrung lefty. It shows lefty bassists can have more options than just hunting for lefties. Only thing with the bass you have re-strung, you have to re-adjust the bridge saddles as well as change the nut
I loooove hearing your amazing art! ❤❤❤ I can totally imagine you writing film music for epic science fiction films! Please never stop playing bass and making art with your music ❤
