Wow!!!! I don't know what's worse. All the burnt and wrecked RVs or that absolutely beautiful property that they dragged all those burnt and wrecked RVs onto.. Damn!!! My dad was partners with his dad (my grampa obviously) with an RV storage and repair in Redwood City California back in the 70s up until early 80s.. We always had RVs or a camper. Nothing is cheap on an RV.. Wow I am just beside myself how many are out there. Again, the property did not deserve all the vacation carcasses they dumped on it..
When you activate your power steering harness does your steering wheel turn freely. Had one put on our 2016 Trailhawk and doesn't seem like it is activated because our steering wheel is still stff. Thanks.
Like anything else, if you buy low you can sell high. I've owned 3-4 pull behinds and 4 motorhomes and if I've lost $3000 over the entirety of my RV ownership that would be generous. Just buy one, buy it right and sell it before you lose money on it. I bought a 2007 Conquest 31' with a whole wall slide out, paid $31,500 and sold it for $750 less than I paid two years later. Financed it on a 0% Capital one card for 12 months. They made almost no money on me, they no longer send me these offers but Discover and Citi do. If you have a good credit score, you should let the bank finance it to you with terms, provided you can pay it off proper.
What is the white finger thing at the bottom of your fridge on the door? From what I found it's called a bottle holder. But I can't find a video on how the hell you use it.
Be scared to be aware. The propane fired heater is often under the refrigerator. Our cheapo $160,000 2017 ClassA had all the sawdust and cut outs for the duct work laying in piles against the heater with wire harnesses in the mix. For every 10 screws used for assembly, 3 are dropped and left rolling around under slides, cabinets and furniture. That nationally approved by US Firemarshalls sticker on the entryway is a shameful misrepresentation.
If your feet are dangling you should not be driving that damn car you can cause a wreck add injure somebody because you're trying to make a freaking video
'Mountains'... Uh, I used to live in Colorado where there are actual mountains. The reason I bring that up is air density is a huge factor. Travelling in 'mountains' of 8 - 10, 000' altitude vs. those of ~5,000' is a huge difference, especially on primary roads that rarely exceed 6%. The amount of air you have to force out of your way is the real issue. Altitude, and the speed you try to drive through it, is the real factor. I would routinely hit 14.8 mpg going over Wolf Creek Pass (Conifer to Durango, ~7-10,000') in my 30' Class C Ford 460 but it would struggle to do better than 9 mpg, @ 60mph on I-70 in Kansas. Hitting 80+ through South Park on 285 wasn't even noticeable without looking at the speedo.
Many RV rentals are available to be put in a location for you. The person renting the RV to you delivers it and picks it up. This is a common choice for festivals or large events, but sometimes just at regular campsites. Companies like RV Share offer peer to peer rentals, and some of the ads call out this service option. -M
Absolute garbage video. Video sucks, the audio sucks and nobody wants to look at that yellow haired blob blocking the screen. We want to see the Motorhomes, do the narration overdubbed on the video and NO NOISE you might want to call music. NOTHING would sound better than Your choice. Most were insurance claims and the people probably are the ones that caused it on purpose. To get rid of the headache of the junk that was made in the USA.
Thank you for this video! I have just started using the convection oven - trying to teach myself. I'm 80 and have never used one of these. And, I'm not a great cook. I've never seen a potato ricer either! Your video just taught me a lot. I'm encouraged. My oven is also used now for storage. Enjoyed watching you move through the steps. I will start with the pumpkin pie!!!
I just upgraded my front tires on my 40 foot diesel pusher it came with 275/70/22.5 on aluminum wheels 22.5 x7.5 wide I purchased new aluminum wheels, 9 inches wide, flat face like what you see on Prevost and I upgraded the tires to 305/70/22.5 wow what a difference in the handling well worth the money and it looks sexy them bigger tires really fill in the wheel well
I have just come across your video, must be nice to be able to travel with an RV. Julie have you been living in America for awhile yeah just curious you obviously like it, love to hear from you both if not no sweet thanks again for your videos cheers mate
Yes, the traveling lifestyle can be a lot of fun, even while still working full time. Julie moved to America in 2009, so yes, she has been here a while. Cheers. -M
Thank You! We are first time RV shoppers with, lets just say, "special poo needs" this answered sooooo many questions that I am very glad I know before buying a very expensive RV
