I don't remember doing that nonsense - Twisted Wheel (original), Pendulum Mcr, and Wigan Casino, all very early/mid 70's. We danced freestyle. Crikey, I've seen lads dancing on their heads at Wigan.
The only dancing steps I've actually ever learned ☺️ so after 9 years of dancing away with it , thanks so much for the video! ❤ Advice for anyone starting, make it your own, the NS scene from what I gather, looks down on overly choreographed "line dancing", and that's another reason why I love NS even more 🥰 Having said that, I will finally look into more of your tutirials on the channel as my passion for norther soul is just getting bigger and bigger and bigger ❤️ Thank you ✊🏼
Could someone please let me know which venue this is? My younger sister was very keen on Northern Soul but unfortunately she was too young to be of the Wigan Casino or Twisted Wheel venues. I think she will be very pleased to see this video.
I'm almost 75 and meeting friends on New Years eve for a NORTHERN SOUL event! 😂 Wish me luck - I'm practicing really hard!!! Yep everything hurts but just can't wait to be with friends from my past.👍😀
Sick of seeing this, they are 20 yr olds surrounded by people that lived NS and are now in their late 60's of course they are going to look amazing! We looked amazing when we were in Wigan Casino, somewhere they have nevver been. Put 45 yrs on their backs and lwets see them do what they are doing now! FFS!
If you've got soul, it just comes to you. You don't need to learn it. No one ever taught me or must soulies, it comes naturally. Though I guess some people need to be taught as they can't dance full stop. In which case these are probably useful to them.
