I'm currently looking for these tires for my SR 400 and I decided to look for opinions, I came across your video and you ruined my dreams :(( I think I'll go with some scrambler tire style though
in fact its much worse due to the ergonomics differences. A cafe racer with no rear sets is basically a standard motorcycle with a hunched posture. At least sport bikes come standard with rearsets & the proper fairings to make it more or less comfortable. I ride my cafe daily to work and hopped on my colleague’s R3 quite a few times. The difference is alot.
I know it's an old video, but do you recommend the motolanna seat? are they well made? It's a bit of a cash but I don't mind if it's worth it, appreciate the input. cheers.
About how many miles did it seem to not impact you anymore? I just got one, am at about 13 miles on mine now. Noticed yesterday it just went away after about 3 miles, that is when I started practicing carving. Good tip!
Hopefully I can get my Onewheel soon. I live in Utah and have some fun trails nearby like the Snowbasin trail right on the other side of the mountain in my backyard. Also Love the car man. Love seeing fellow Z owners. I miss my 350Z but I needed a GTI for the snow to give the Z a break after offroading it and driving it year round.
Personally, started in grass the first time and found that most of the time there are holes and dips that can’t be seen, so starting padded up in the concrete is a better way to learn. Grass and off road should be after.
Had my for a year in July. I’ve respected the board and thankfully only fell twice, wasn’t paying attention to my surroundings. This only happened in the grass by the way.
Ur SR400 sounds good. What exhaust did you use? I have a 2018 SR400. Replaced exhaust with one from Omega Racer. Problem is it’s popping like crazy. It’s annoying. Yours sounds nice and deep. Didn’t hear any popping from your video.
In the Pint, there's a "Hang loose" hand in the upper left of each preset (redwood, pacific, elevated, skyline) so if you touch it, it will either have a slash through it or not. Slash = no simple stop, no slash = simple stop is activated
My thought is - not to run that particualr tyre on the front --- HA - I intend to 'stretch' (for want of a better term) a Firetone 5.00 -16 on the rear and a 2.75 x 21 on a 1.6 on the fron - HA - what could go wrong. Have a nice day all. CHEERS from AUSTRALIA.
