Just one question…..can you claim a tunnel route with a combination of usual train cards and locomotives prior to the extra three? For example there is a 4 spots tunnel route. Can I use 2 orange trains and 2 locomotives? And if yes they count all as orange so if we draw the three required to see the length of the route, if orange or locomotives show up we have to use extra orange or locomotives cards?
Thank you for this video, it made me buy Junior i used to play normal Catan with my family(dad, mom, older brother) when i was like 10 Now i'm 25 and now i play Junior with my 56yo mom because my father is angry alkoholic and my brother migrated It's sad to no longer have possibility to play 3-4 players game with family so i only look for 2 players games
Oh my goodness, THANK YOU so much for explaining this properly in this video! It really helps to see it visually. I don't know how the game is explained in the other 5 minute videos here on RU-vid, you really need the 15 minute on, this one! ( I admit it, I watched a couple 5 minutes videos and couldn't get it).QUESTION: Say there are extra tiles at the end of a tile draw just sitting in the middle that no one needs or can take due to them already fulfilling that tile color in their wall. Do they just get dismissed and added to the "extra" pile? Or do the players have to take a full color and put it in their floor line?
Hi! Thank you for your comment. I appreciate the kind words. As for your question, all tiles from the factory display and the centre of the table must be taken. If you end up with more tiles than you can place, you must place the excess tiles on your floor line. In this way you are able to stick your opponents with extra tiles they don’t need that will cause them to lose points.
Die is singular and "original" form. Dice is plural, but it's also widely accepted as the singular form nowadays. Google it (I did because I thought the same thing) :)
HEY!! your video was AMAZING❤ Thank you Soo much! the explanations were VERY CLEAR AND DETAILED, and it was to the POINT . It takes with other ppl too long and confusing ✌️
Just to clarify the situation about trainstations: I'm blue and I want to go to from Bruxelles to Lisboa but Paris- Madrid is occupied. Do I place in this case a trainstation on Paris to use Paris-Pamplona and a trainstation Pamplona to use Pamplona-Madrid and continue with my own blue trains to use Madrid-Lisboa?
Thanks for the video. Can you clarify why, at 8:15 you didn't move one of the red tiles to the red square... and similarly, why at 8:33 you didn't move the white-and-blue tiles nor the red-and-yellow tiles?
Hi! Thank you for the question. If I’m understanding correctly, the confusion is from the tiles that are left behind. If that’s the case then no problem. The reason those weren’t moved is because you only move tiles to your wall when you complete en entire line. In the case of the red tiles left behind it’s because there are only 2 of the required 5. Those will stay behind so that you have an opportunity to add to that line next time. The answer is the same for the blue and white and red and yellow. Hope that answers your question.
I've played this before where we til3s the wall during the actual turns, ot after all factories where empty... this allowed for quicker row creations. I wonder which is correct. Others have taught it the way I played.... nice to have the option to do either
Question - let's say you have depleted your entire pile and discarded until, in your final turn, you have just one card left in your hand. Do you lose since you need to discard a minimum of 2 cards per turn? Or can you just play your final card in your final turn and therefore win?
