In my country our best performance spinners are much smaller size than these birds..And at the flying championships the old professional men who always win said the secret is the area and shape of the birds tail in relation to its wing area..Fast regular clean deep spinners have smallish low drag tails they would shape with scissors before the contest..The flying performance of their birds defies gravity..beyond Amazing.

@@ahlerhawj603 honestly, their team work and frequency. They are not too deep but if I can add more depth by next year, I can get a nice team. Only if I can find the right pair lol. Got to keep experimenting 🙂

I honestly did not measure. A friend took a bunch of free plywood and boxes and gave them to me. I just took whatever matches. But I'm guessing it 4ft wide and 3 ft deep. The height from the wire floor is probably 4ft . 🙂
My 1st round froze. For second round I was in the middle of moving so that went to hell and the last round I got a car that had plenty of sense and found a way from the bottom

Thanks a lot bro! I bred and lost lots of good ones to the hawk in March. So, I'm a bit behind my schedule for training these young ones. Definitely next year I will have better planning. Hopefully all your birds are doing well bro. 👍
The majority of them are young ones about 3 months. A lot of the older ones were taken by the hawk earlier in the spring and haven't been giving them a lot of air time. 🙂
@@SmokesLoft i know that you have a serious issue with the hawks and falcons... it's becoming a bit of a problem here in Ireland for the last few years... but what can we do because the powers that be only want to protect them...
