I used to have the opposite problem: my hens rolled well, but the cock birds only managed short rolls. I found that the rolling trait tends to pass down to the males in a bird family, while hens stay consistent, with the occasional lucky roll. It takes patience, but eventually, you might get a rolling hen. Some rollers will start rolling after two years. Check your bird family's history to find hens from lines known for rolling or finding a hen that already rolls. What I have done to solve my issue, joined the NBRC club and got birds from auction and directly from known roller pigeon master flyers. Hopefully that helps 🙂

@@SmokesLoft it’s crazy cause the hens don’t roll and they produce good cock birds but yes I will have to find some different females and hopefully my cock birds will stay the same Thanks for the reply I’m sure I will figure it out with a little time 👍 I’ve been learning a lot from you and other RU-vidrs I’ll keep looking forward to your updates

No problem. I would still keep those hens because even though they don't show rolling, they hold the gene that will pass down to their young. 🙂
