He's literally the best. I can't even begin to compare him to any other artist in existence. Every song is just a banger. He and the team have actually elevated music itself.
@@StudioTen24 they just absolutely pour over every seemingly minute detail and polish the shit out of it until it's perfect. Goblin hours was fantastic but these singles are just out of this world with the hooks and leads. I'm actually scared of the next album is going to be too good and tear a hole in spacetime or some shit.
@@moresoysauce5489 fun fact, my barber is Paul, his old bass player. I just saw him Monday. He says this next album is going to be bonkers. If I remember correctly he said Johnny isn’t doing any co-writes on it. I think his label wanted him to co-write on goblin hours, but now he’s independent which means it’s all purely him. It is sure to be insane 🤣
Just so you know, the distributor messed up Drunk Enough. Muri decided to take the song down and wait to rerelease it with the upcoming album along with changing it slightly. However, somebody uploaded Drunk Enough on RU-vid and Johnny commented on it and seems like he approves of the rando upload. It will prolly be different than the final album release but it’s there to listen to.
Bro, @4:57 the song is done. You don't need to have music playing for every second of the video. It's distracting. At the very least, give us a break for a little bit before REPEATING the same song we just heard

the only note I have is that when you are referencing a specific section of the song ie: when you refer to the "section with the chuggs", take a sec and pull it up and relisten to it with us so we can hear what you're hearing in it. in this case it sort of lined up (I think) but I'm not sure if the section I'm thinking of is the section you're thinking of. critical listening can absolutely involve looping certain sections to break down and listen to the different layers of a song. but overall I love the content and am stoked to see where you go from here!

I do hope this is the sound of their new album, but it's ultimately up to them. I think the issue with Architects isn't just that they left the heaviness, but they lost their progressive musicality as well. Everything was just much simpler, very radio rock, and from a band that basically made its name of progressive metalcore, I can see why the hardcore fans weren't happy. Have you heard BABYMETAL? if i like musicians i don't care if they do the same good stuff or try out new things. usually it's all at least good enough to repeatedly listen to it. i trust them to do things that make them 'happy' and that they do the best they can/want. and if it sucks because i don't like the style (or whatever): there are more musicians to discover :)
Exactly!! I think some listeners problem is that they want to be nostalgic all the time. They want the band to continue sounding like when they first discovered them. But that’s simply not what music is about. For the artist it’s about honing in your craft and making music that they want to make, to the best of their ability. For the listener, it should be supporting the artist regardless if you like the new stuff or not.
This record hit me hard this year, I’m super inspired by it to the point of wanting to write a story (possibly a short novel) inspired by the entirety of the record. I cannot wait to see how this band blossoms moving forward
