Less is so much more on this single. The synth swells and no vocals on the first chorus really tie this together. Probably my favorite metal track of the year.
Absolutely! Such a different approach to songwriting in this one. The execution is second to none with these guys. 2023 has been such a good year for metal, so I can’t say it’s my favorite, but it’s pretty high up on my list!
Duuude, to have Silent Planet as your gateway into metal... That makes me feel so old lol. I wasn't super into Iridescent either. Or When The End Began. I got into them when they were on their tour for Everything Was Sound. I kind of fell off for a while, but this song is too sick. I'm back on, full force, 100%.
I think I found them during EWS as well! I’ve been kinda on the same road with them. Fell off after WTEB and wasn’t SUPER astounded by iridescent, but this…THIS is something I can get down with! Thanks for watching man
@@StudioTen24 I'm right there with you then. I'm glad I'm not alone here lol. Silent Planet's always been great, but I haven't been this moved by one of their songs since Panic Room. This song is so far out my wheelhouse, but it still managed to grab me. Of course man. I'll keep watching too.
