I have a question on the pag oil. It looks like some refrigerants come with pag oil in them, do I need to add the straight oil on top of this if I use that kind of refrigerant or should these have enough oil to be ok?
I also have a 3rd generation camry. I thought it was a type-o, but as long as you don't treat your camry as a taxi cab, you can go 7500 miles or 12 months with conventional oil. There is also a sign on the inside of the hood that lists the same info. Is that recommended?
I have the V6 with 199k miles, had it since 40k. Only 1 major issue- engine had an oil leak into the alternator, cost me $1600 because they had to lift the engine to fix the leak. Paint has really faded/chipping due to not waxing it like I should, probably going to have to sand it and do a Rustoleum paint job. Headlights are faded, impossible to fully restore despite trying and the headlight position is a little too low. I might buy replacement headlight assemblies and make sure they are properly lifted when installing.
I brought my first car 2 days ago and it's a 2007 hyundai sonata it has 233k miles no rust runs and drives very good and I brought it for 3,300$ and I love it
How did you evac the oil and freon? Where is it going? Does the vacuum pump have a resorvoir and holding tank? If not then how are you removing it from the system
This was the most uninformative video i have ever seen. You literally talked just to hear your own voice and accomplished nothing at all except pissing me off and wasting my time. Next you make a video do what you say you are going to do.
Murano is very nice to drive, considering they are not expensive to buy and quite good on fuel (for the engine size of course) you just need to assume the risk of transmission failure… Which might happen or not if you’re lucky and treat it well
I have a 2015 Ford focus it has 87,000 mi on it and the transmission is giving me problems the fuel canister is giving me problems this car is a piece of s*** do not buy Ford
What if I'm just topping off my freon, how do I know how much refrigerant I need to buy ? Is the vacuum process necessary? Any advice appreciated, Troy
Good video Im going to do mine kust got the stuff to,does the oil come in the freon or is it seperate?suggestion, try not to shake the can makes it hard to read.
My 01 LB7 dually runs perfect but blows a decent amount of black smoke under acceleration with a load it’s had injectors about 7 or 8 years ago it’s bone stock and I love it to roll coal but don’t want it tore up or to hurt it in any way
DO NOT LISTEN TO HIM WHEN HE SAYS TO 'SOMETIMES SHAKE THE BOTTLE'!!!! IF YOU SHAKE THE BOTTLE AND ALLOW FREON FLUID TO GET IN THE SYSTEM, YOU RISK CHANCE OF HYDRO-LOCKING THE COMPRESSOR!!!! 2/10 VIDEO
I do appreciate the 'sections' but I didn't notice them and there are no title but good job. Typically, I go to reviews only for reliability, good/bad things about engine, etc. You may want to cover that as a first point as everything else takes way too long and requires patience. Cockpit... don't care about, etc.
The tools he’s using are fine, but they are not able to evacuate the refrigerant, which is the first thing you must do before anything. The evacuation tools are more than $500, so it’s still cheaper (and safer) to let your mechanic perform the refrigerant evac and recharge tasks.
Hi, I'm confused as I've read some of the comments here and seems this procedure(performing a vacuum in system) is only done when a new component(new compressor) was replaced. My vehicle doesn't have cold air and whould like to add r-134u with a UV dye in it, to check for a leak. Should I vaccum the system? Thanks for the video*
I have a 2005 5.4 it cranks but won't start but I got it to start it runs for a few seconds then it stalls & will not start again. But if I wait until the next day it will starts runs for a few seconds and stalls and won't start again until the next day. What do you think it could be
I don’t fully agree these things push out 275 horse which was more power then obs Chevy trucks in the 1990s. Interior is plan but over all I take one these over their replacement the traverse.
We bought an '81 Ranger F150 Lariat 2 months into Covid. 127K miles. It has a 351 Modified in it. 2 WD. Although it barely pulls itself from a dead stop, and gets terrible mileage, it absolutely CRUISES at 75 mph on the interstate. I attribute that to the 2.47 gears it has in the rear end. I've never heard of such a tall gear before 😳
Freon is a brand name. "Refrigerants" is the generic name for all other R12's,R134's and so on. It's not that big of a deal but for some reason it's always bothered me when every refrigerant is called Freon.
While adding refrigerant, what would cause the psi on the high pressure gauge to go really high (400-500)? The high pressure side was closed the whole time while adding refrigerant.
I have a 2015 Ford focus SE it is a piece of crap it's giving me problems it only has 87,000 mi on it transmission problems a fuel canister problems I urge do not buy this car
