It's not dead it's just below 12 volts it's almost able to turn over could be alternator issue I noticed I'd have issues starting cool mornings for 6 months changed battery in-between that time and then boom lost power at a red light and knew it
You're a fckn Genius bro... I saw that damn whole on mine, thought it was just for venting... I guess this is what you get when dont read the damn manuel 😅...
If you can find the specs of the output wattage itself of each wire on the Dwo - 5 I wouldn’t see why not for the speakers and as long as the volts output on battery is same then u should be good ✅
Thank you for the video. I couldn't figure out how to get to the screws holding the unit on. I didn't know about the screw on the side. Haha. I just got the whole replacement setup from Cycle Gear, and it's a whole replacement setup for anyone else wondering. Thanks again.
Hello, I have depressed the reset button and did several combinations on trying to power up the helmet with the different buttons with no success. Of course this bluetooth has been built into this helmet so not sure if it can be replaced. Any information or resolution would be appreciated.
retry Every step with the the charger plugged into the helmet. If not, the battery might have corroded and might need a physical replacement.... reply if the first step doesn't work
Why isn’t any Sena or cyclegear supporting this piece of junk. The manual is 45 pages filled with very complicated instructions. Press, center button or combination of buttons, “1sec, 2sec 3 sec, 5 sec, 10 sec or 12 sec”. Then good luck operating with gloved hands. I could not even activate the telephone voice command and instead activated the FM radio. This is a function that is not covered by the manual, and I haven’t been able to duplicate.
Good video, I had to reset my bluetooth because it was not charging correctly and it was not connect sometimes. The reset fix that problem. A few years later I was getting the red and blue light flashing and my bluetooth was not fully charging. I tried a different power supply and that fix it.
Here is another problem I was having, the charging LED would flash blue and red after a few minutes connected to the charger. I reset it multiple times but it did not work. Then I pressed the reset button for over 10 seconds. That worked. Have not had anymore problems.
The glass and “stainless steel” are around the same hardness (5.5,6.5) but almost all razor blade are coated with “stainless” properties which makes them on the softer end of metals. This is equivalent to polishing chrome with aluminum
Hey. Nice job but cell phone chargers have outputs of 5V and car batteries need to be charged to 12V to be fully charged. Maybe your ac adapter was from a different type of item such as rechargeable spotlight or R/C car? The black box on the end is much smaller on cell phone chargers also. 👍
On average previously, yes. But that is changing drastically. New USB type C chargers are doing 15 watts minimum with 3Amps which is 9V and will be a fighting chance for starting smaller cars with lower CCA's (I used a V8 In the video)
